Warlocks can't shatter so whats the point on doing shatter bounties ect.
PVP only!
Just to be clear warlocks can't break ice.
it makes no sense why only warlocks haven't got a shatter ability mechanic while others like titans/hunters does.
Freezing rift is nowhere near as good the animation ice storm that goes around the rift while igniting it down at the ground may think you have freeze an opponent at the corner or near you answer nope please Acknowledge atleast that rift animation speed takes way to long to ignite it at the ground which is insane or hopefully create an new exotic armor that finally does wonders to warlocks.
Recent patch have toned down warlocks range but meanwhile titans got their external longe range ice slide and melee.
I don't get it.
This no hate nor a recall to nerf it
But just decrease Stasis overall especially recharge rate of Grenades.
Edit: warlocks can only break the ice with an basic melee hit after you freeze an opponent with melee ability. Due to previous patch the freezing ability on warlock class only lasts 1.5s /2s sometimes the melee hit doesnt registered at all but it takes a while to actually get the opponent killed on screen even progress on bounties ect. And thats different to Titans and Hunters.

Well we were supposed to be the guys who could freeze any and everything, but they nerfed that shit to the ground. So we'd need a while new ability to shatter

Personally I'd like to see stasis Warlocks have some kind of movement aspect like Titans and Hunters.

18 RepliesHonestly Vesper of Radius should be able to shatter ice walls since it lets out an arc blast when you activate a rift. The rift aspect needs to be reworked to shatter nearby ice walls instead of freezing since the animation takes so long and the radius is so tiny. What I'd like to see is the a "shatterpulse", when the rift is put down it lets off a stasis shockwave that shatters nearby ice walls and guardians and enemies that walk through it are slowed. That would make it much much better and far more used. Since the shatter would be tied to the rift we'd have it on a cooldown so we can't spam it even with 10 recovery we wont get it back often enough to spam it so the other classes wont want to see it nerfed.

Warlocks should have a Shatter ability but if we’re going with a theme here it would have to be tied to some form of movement.

1 Replykilling enemies frozen in stasis is shatter damage. Warlocks probably don't have a shatter ability because they can slot 4 fragments, have an instant freeze ability, and have iceflare bolts. Imagine if a Titan for example, threw an icewall on someone, slid into it, got grenade energy back, and sent instant freezing seekers out on the first 2 shatter kills. That sounds pretty broken to me

Edited by Madness Tus: 12/23/2020 10:07:03 PMyeah it annoys me to see that Locks don't have shatter but what annoys me more is that they didn't give the class a movement ability, they think that a melee that insta freeze you and sometimes doesn't register is enough to make the class good while as time goes by i realize now that the nerf that they did to the class was never needed and i used to think that it was. Hunter shatterdive ice wall combo, slow dodge and shuriken is way wore obnoxious than the lock insta freeze also the titan slide alone is more obnoxious than icarus dash and penumbral blast together

3 RepliesI hated that bounty. As a Warlock you need to freeze an enemy near an enemy and then kill him so his explosion shatters the guy next to him. Worst part? The penumbral blast doest count. It took way to long to complete. I agree Warlocks need an instant shatter like Titans and Hunters.

I think that melee should activate shatter if it hits ice walls, both uncharged and charged
