I am traveling for work and was forced to used the hotel’s internet. I feel my ban should be lifted because I have never had connection problems this severe in the past. I contacted the hotel IT department and they are blaming the building construction on the poor quality of connection
Please unban me.

1 ReplyHi, The forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. If you think your ban is unjustified, here is a link redirecting you to a ban dispute form. Read the page carefully before completing the form. However, Bungie does not guarantee a response from them or provide a banning but they will do their best.
Requests for additional information, such as the length of a restriction or reason for a ban, will be disregarded.

There are no guarantees that a ban or suspension will be overturned, nor that an email will be responded to. 2 RepliesThe hotel wifi didn't get you restricted. You got yourself restricted by playing on a connection that was below the required minimum. It's worth checking the connection quality first when in unfamiliar enviroments.

2 Repliesyeah, probably not going to happen. did you do any speed/quality tests prior to playing? hotel internet is always horrible even if you pay for the upgraded tier. and the wifi? ugh. have to understand how your connection impacts other players, especially in pvp. to ignore it is to disrespect the other players play time as well.
