I just got 1K Voices last night. I haven’t seen anyone in PvE use this in a while. Is this still a viable weapon to use, compared to the usual Xenophage/Guillotine/Anarchy/Lament?

Yes. It's a great all around gun. Decent add clear, killing big bois, decent boss damage, great for invading It's basically a beefed up version of everything you would have used sleeper for. It hasn't been a part of my kit recentlt due to gambit ammo changes and getting new toys but I still love it

It’s viable and very fun.

Edited by Swiftlock: 12/17/2020 6:26:05 PMIt's not the top of the meta. It will never melt raid bosses as fast as a team full of Laments or Xenos. That being said, it does have some situations where it's very useful. It can kill Wrathborn bosses in two shots. It's handy for strikes where you can use it for both crowd control and boss damage from a safe distance. It also shines in Gambit. You can wipe out multiple guardians and take out mobs/bosses with it, though not as quickly as the meta weapons. You need to get pretty good with 1KV to make it work versus the top dogs.

I use it in master stuff all the time. Don't use it in a well unless you know your team. You will kill yourself with it more than all your other weapons combined, but there is no other gun like it.

Viable? Absolutely. It may not be the top of the pile, but it still holds its own.
