edit: i am disgusted with this event. I'm boycotting. join in that'd be cool, don't and it won't make a difference either way. enjoy yourselves this holiday season guys, you deserve it.
i think it's pretty scummy how the bounties were lowered THE season of the dawning.
before if you started grinding weeks in advance you could possibly buy a single set for 3 classes, but now that's out the window. the prices are still 6000 dust per ONE FULL SET. if you did every weekly bounty and reached rank 100 and never bought anything | all since the season launched, you'd probably be able to buy 2 sets, and have no dust left for anything else
true, the season pass gives more. 10500 at rank 100. but that's just trading high potential (weekly bounty grinding) for an upfront kick of bright dust. you'd be lucky if you have enough to buy two sets now- and I'm not talking to you whales that have played on the same account since launch and have 99billion dust
next, silver pricing- 1500 per set. you can't even buy 1500 silver you have to pay 20 dollars for 2000, so 20 dollars per set. if you spent 60 dollars(THE PRICE OF A MODERN VIDEO GAME) for 3 sets you could get the last one free
this is outrageously expensive in whatever method you want to use to get a set. I'm just gonna sit back and hope the few pieces i want show up in the bright dust store, that's another thing. i don't even want the full sets i just want pieces of them that look good. the full sets are okay looking at best(if you're a titan or warlock, if you're a hunter i am so sorry)

52 RepliesSo your thought is that devs should work for free? Of course cosmetics are going to cost. That’s most of the business model, and it’s neither unfair nor mean that they cost money.
