Exotic Catalyst Drop Rate?
I've been trying to get the random exotic Catalysts to drop for things such as Graviton Lance, Suros Regime, Sweet Business, etc. for well over a year now with absolutely zero drops. Am I doing something wrong? Is it bugged? What's going on here?

Suros only has a chance to drop on a crucible win, I believe.

The only catalyst I wanted was sweet business and it dropped for me at crucible game 1550..hang in there.

2 RepliesI played close to 1000 matches of crucible and 15k guardians defeated before getting Jade Rabbit, VWing and Suros catalysts to drop in the same week. Probably coincidentally; the VWing and Suros both dropped from control games that I joined in progress on the losing team, going on to win at the top of the leaderboard and earning the 'From the Jaws of Defeat' medal. The Jade dropped after a mayhem game that I got a 10 kill streak and ghost medal in. Somewhere around 500 games I had the Colony catalyst drop in the middle of a control match. No medal, no kill. Just a completely random drop with seemingly no associated action. It could be entirely random, and I just got unlucky with RNG to have to wait so long, but I suspect there are hidden milestones that increase your chances.

Nope. You might have to complete hundreds of Crucible matches and strikes before you find the exact catalyst you want. This is 100% normal. Have fun.
