Edited by BNGSecurity: 12/15/2020 2:51:22 AMHi Fatalcrushcrush, Your account has been restricted from matchmaking against other players for 2 weeks, beginning Dec 14th, due to extremely poor connection stability that was negatively impacting other players' experience. Specifically, we have repeatedly detected extremely high packet loss over several days averaging over 6% We initially sent you an in-game warning about your connection's extreme instability in June which provided suggestions for how to fix the issue. I have confirmed that you acknowledged these messages by dismissing the message window. Your restriction has been reviewed and will be upheld. To learn how to improve your connection stability by reducing latency and packet loss, please carefully read this page in our Network Troubleshooting Guide: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13603
For more information about our Bans and Restrictions policies, including how to officially submit an appeal, visit https://bungie.net/bans

Topics receiving replies from this account are automatically locked, because we have found the majority of replies to these threads break the Code of Conduct regarding personal attacks, harassment, or violations of privacy.
P.S. A few notes regarding some other replies in this thread: 1) A human reviews all restrictions and bans before action is taken. While initial detection may be automated, the specific details about the cause of the punishment are always seen by a human before any penalties are applied. 2) The connection of other players is not factored in when making assessments. All connection-based restrictions are applied using metrics for your connection only, as reported from multiple unique points. Further, these metrics are assessed over a days-long period of time, not just individual matches. 3) Poor connection quality can no longer result in a permanent crucible restriction. The maximum restriction for connection-based issues is 2 months, which can be repeated as necessary.

7 RepliesYou'll have to wait it out. If it's a two week restriction work on improving your internet connection. The next restriction is two months. After that it's a permanent ban from pvp content.
