With all the changes to bright dust making it harder to get from weekly bounties please don't make the dawning armor ornaments cost 6,000 bright dust each be reasonable and make something like 4,500 bright dust or something so we can actually have a chance to buy them that way people who do all the weekly bounties on all characters can buy at least two of them without having to grind the season pass since I know that not everyone has a pile of bright dust saved for this event.

13 RepliesEdited by Ferus Lux: 12/16/2020 3:32:57 AM6000 bright dust for a premium set is fair. I saved my bright dust weeks in advance (because anyone should know by now, after 4 years, to save for The Dawning) and the season pass gives a shit ton of bright dust. I look at it as asking Microsoft to reduce the price of Series X just because I did not save up for it. Maxing the season pass gives 6400 Bright Dust and you can earn 600 bright dust a week from the weeklies in addition to the Bounties from Eva Levante. Anyone can get a set.

I agree that it shouldn't cost the same as in previous years since the overall decrease in our ability to acquire bright dust. But we should also be able to buy individual pieces in the set. Having to buy the whole set of any ornament despite only really wanting one piece is annoying. Previous year's sets should cost less depending on how old they are. Last year's set should cost 1k less, the year before that 2k less, and the oldest should cost either 3k+ less or just be added to the bright engram pool during the dawning.

8 RepliesI'm sitting on 20k bright dust because I'm not spending it on trash I'm gonna use for like all of 1 day or week
-
19 RepliesDude not only that but those dawning weapon ornaments!! Why I gotta pay cash monies for something that’s gonna get put in the vault only to be used once in a blue moon?????
-
15 RepliesBetter yet, make all event items rewarded from doing the event.
-
Edited by Demon_XXVII: 12/16/2020 9:26:55 AMIt should all be rewards for hitting targets & completing the Dawning (aka The Yawning) & then sell them off as individual & separate items - 500 Brightdust per Armour piece I only want the bloomin Hunter (Lucent) helm & cloak....no way am I using 6000 BD or paying silver!
-
Sell items separately, I only like some bits.
-
8 RepliesTechnically if you do all 8 weeklies on three characters over the 4 week period you’ll earn 9600 Bright Dust which IS enough to buy a single set
-
10 RepliesEdited by KelticWarrior14: 12/17/2020 6:46:15 PMSave your bright dust and do the bounties that give you bright dust on all 3 characters, you got a long time to get to 6,000 bright dust on the Dawning armor ornaments before the event ends. Edit: I meant save the Bightdust that you have rn if you didn't spent on anything and do more brightdust bounties before the event ends.
-
2 RepliesOr give us an actual activity and let us earn the ornaments through it. Dawning is by far the worst seasonal event and that's saying something.
-
You're seeing ghost shells went from 2200 to 2850 and youre asking them to lower prices on full armor sets?? Won't happen.
-
Edited by Why is this happening?: 12/16/2020 3:59:03 AMNvm. I'm depressed.

1 ReplyEdited by Kouz_MC: 12/16/2020 8:52:26 AMYou just gave Bungie one more reason to make it even more expensive! 🤣 Edit: see they not only listened, made them 4 sets! Still no iron banner set though, bc why do anything that can be earned in game when eververse sells!
-
1 ReplyAgreed , the 10k in the pass doesn’t offset what we are no longer able to earn and I’m sure the “numbers” were discussed in a meeting b4 the change just sad, and we can’t even protest outside bungie studios with the pandemic. Bungee needs to At least meet the community 1/4 of the way and let us purchase the pieces individually, but realistically I don’t see any changes coming without community wide outrage or big name streamers speaking on it. #Season of giving
-
The funny thing is that dawning cost more than beyond light. 🤣
-
2 RepliesI'm just sad Glee Barrage and Merry Maker are silver-only. Pretty crappy move considering they'll never be in Bright Engrams and now I gotta wait until next year for them to maybe cost Dust.
-
6k is asking too much
-
4 RepliesFork up 10$ if you want the ornaments that badly
-
Honestly, they should be rewarded through an actual activity. They talked about this with Season of Arrivals in moving the moon fang gear from eververse into the dungeon. They need to follow through with that promise and stop putting the best looking armor behind eververse or even the season pass. The steeplechase ornaments should have been a set obtained from successful wrath born hunts.
-
5 RepliesI remember when they were a generous 5,000 Then Bunghole bumped them up by 1k while now slashing our BD gains by 50%.
-
10 RepliesI’ve saved up 32,000+ Bright Dust for the Dawning. 6000 is what I’m expecting per set. If it is what you were expecting, and you thought you would want it, why didn’t you save up too?
-
2 RepliesI only have one character, and probably won't be able to afford the Bright Dust cost since I can't earn 1800 Bright Dust per week. Ridiculous.
-
2 RepliesGood thing the dawning is gonna be around for more than a week. Meaning you have time to get things.
-
3 RepliesThe bright dust changes literally hurts everyone who plays more than 2 hours a week
-
Just like that.....18k brightdust gone....
-
It’s actually good at 6000. You aren’t meant to buy everything with bright dust.
