What are the wired statues in the pyramids?

So when you go in the pyramid such as in Shadowkeep The Deep Stone Cryot etc. You can see these weird statues what are they and what do they represent.

  • <When Shadowkeep came out I believed they were a sign that I was right. That the race within the Pyramids, or at least some of them, were human. While I still hold that theory close, it doesn't really answer what the statues ARE. I believe they are conduits of Dark energy. Look at the Garden Statue and you'll see that roots grow AROUND it, but never on it. Every other piece of Pyramid architecture can be affected by the grass, but nothing grows near the statue specifically. Look towards Clarity Control and you'll see the same thing. The ice morphs around it, but never on it. Not to mention that CC has an ambient Dark effect, one that led to the development of the Alkahest solution that made Exominds work a bit better in their new bodies. However, CC is also another source of confusion. Unlike every other statue seen so far, CC breathes, as if alive. I'm beginning to think that these statues aren't just conduits, they're vessels. Means for the Darkness to interact with the material realm. Their shape may be representative of what they once were, people. There are still many signs other than the statues that point towards an early age of human history. If those within the ships are human, then perhaps these are certain people who became vessels for the Darkness. If the Pyramids are splinters of the Winnower (metaphysical, like Ghosts, not physical, like the Shard of the Traveler), then perhaps those people are the equivalent of a Ghost's shell. I mean, this wouldn't be the first time the power of Darkness was used on a statue. Look at the Black Garden. The Heart, an artifact of Darkness, breathed life into the statues there and empowered the Sol Progeny, turning their bodies into, well, vessels. Perhaps the statues are the same. Just some have also become actual ships as well. Try stabbing a statue next time, see what happens to the ship around it.>

    • Possibly another way how the darkness communicates

      • Short answer: We really don’t know anything, but it’s most likely the form that represents the Winnower/Darkness.
