If you nerfed snipers, NERF Arbalest
Sniper were the only counter to that broken gun. It's aim assist is ridiculously OP. You barely have to aim to get a headshot. Good snipers were a counter for it and it still required skill to do so.
Now that you made snipers crap (which was a huge mistake), Arbalest stands unopposed. You need to reduce its aim assist and bullet magnetism or return Snipers to their previous state. Arbalest is way too strong.
Most Heavy Linear Fusion Rifles are worse than Arbalest. That makes no sense. The weapon needs some major tweaks.

Ive been killed by a sniper in 1 out of 20 games. They were never a problem. Even before, I hardly got killed by snipers. And yet the community cheers for snipers nerf.

1 ReplyI dont see Arby as much as I do Felwinters, so yes. You most likely made this after getting destroyed by someone using it and cried on the forums. Yes, its godly, but definitely not overused. I've seen more Hawkmoon, Last Word, and Crimson than I have Arbalest.

I beat this twit 2-0 in Comp the other day that only used Arbalest. Felt great putting him in his place. Nerf Arbalest. Particularly the AA.

Counters? I don’t see how a sniper was ever a counter. Ranged weapons suffer up close. Make better use of the games mobility and be more aggressive. It’s a lot easier for them to miss when you force a fight from a position of power

Dude said, "good snipers could counter and (required skill)" Lol You can close your eyes, drop the controller/mouse and still get a headshot with a sniper. They literally prevented players from turning corners. Then sword peeking was popularized (for obvious reasons) and the complaining was hilarious.

5 RepliesThis thread is so funny, a game breaking gun that’s hardly used. The defenders of said gun get told to stop using there crutch (a word that’s shorthand for I got killed with this so now I’m mad) and one of the guys defending it is told he doesn’t know what he’s talking about as his stats say he’s a terrible PvP player. Which is impossible because if he’s using a gun that “guarantees” kill after kill like is being argued here ? his stats would be amazing and he wouldn’t be getting told to go away because he dies more often than he kills with an apparently OP gun no one uses ? . It’s not even like you can say but no one knows about this gun, because bungie only forced everyone to use it just one year ago to do the Komodo quest, unless you didn’t have it in which case hours of grinding was to be your reward. . Good shout to those mentioning Queensbreaker, a good example of what does need fixing as it’s a great weapon with no function in the game, and a good example of what results from all these nerf posts. The game has enough useless exotics/abilities as is without adding to that list.

Aim assist is all that arbalest has going for it. It's basically a sniper with charge time otherwise. Charge time is a huge downside.
