Open world PvP
The best time I’ve ever had in PvP was playing the dark zone in the division. Compared to the division’s pvp, destiny is archaic and boring. Team deathmatch is overplayed and has not aged well. Bungie please step it up. Destiny does not appear to be on the fast track to MLG tournaments, so you might as well give the fans something fun like an open world pvp experience. Because to be quite honest, destiny’s pvp game modes are unplayably boring. All of these game modes are about 20+ years old and players are bored of them. You’ve got to step it up. Please. I want to love this game, but I am not loving it. Changes need to be made, and you’ve got to evolve with the times. Call of duty and halo style pvp games are ancient, and they have worn out their welcome. Please go back to the drawing board and churn out something entertaining, or people will start funneling away from destiny.

We should not be taking ideas from a game as big a failure as TD "[i]CoD and Halo style games are ancient[/i]" Ya ok so that's why Overwatch and other battle arena FPS are the most popular FPS in the industry and CoD sells tens of millions of copies with every release.

20 RepliesThere are very few ways this could work within destiny, and frankly none of them would make sense in the current state of the game. Here are some possible situations: 1. Faction wars where members of Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and FWC could fight each other over resources. This wouldn’t work simply because despite their differing philosophies, the factions would still work together for the betterment of humanity when needed- now is such a time. 2. Dark guardians: now that we have access to the darkness’ powers we could have more dark guardians arise and fight us light bearers loyal to humanity and the traveler. This could not work as there is not developed story of competing guardian factions with the darkness and the light unless they were to reopen the dredgen story
