Ok so hear me out
Farming armor is boring and it doesn't feel good, why should i spend so much time farming a piece of armor with the exact same stats as my previous armor (the one that is getting sunsetted) i understand that is because Bungie wants us to try the new armor they spent the time and money creating, yes and I'm in for that, i want new things, but getting the perfect roll has been always a pain in the butt so here are my proposals:
Letting us distribute the "Stat Points" of each piece of armor, so that way we just farm for the highest Stat Point piece of armor, the masterwork is a bit too expensive but i understand that masterworking an armor is an Endgame thing so it should be that way, but tuning it down a bit wouldn't hurt you guys T_T
For those who will say, yeah but if you could do it, not as many people will farm the armor because with one set they will be pleased, and to that i disagree, you see, in this system, farming armor will be 10000000000X times easier, more people will actually be more eager to farm high stat armor instead of just 1, yes, content creators and hardcore players farm high stat armor today, but the vast majority of players just farm 1 because its too difficult and not that much rewarding since you have to ALSO MASTERWORK IT so yeah, those are my thoughts :)
TLDR: Let players distribute the stats on each piece of armor, that way we won't have to spend months farming for the best piece, this will encourage players to farm armor and tone down the cost of masterworking of armor just a lil bit
