Colour Blind Options for Deep Stone Crypt Buffs

Hey there! Spoilers for Deep Stone Crypt below! I have very intense Tritanopia, which causes the yellow hues in-game to appear as white. This makes it next to impossible for me to pick out the correct Atraks/Receptacle for Deep Stone Crypts various encounters if I'm given the "scanner" buff. During Encounter 1, the wall panels are possible to see, as the grid on them is white on black, since the panels themselves are quite dark. During encounter 2, I cannot see which illusion is real, meaning if something goes wrong and I'm needed to pick up yellow during the chaos, I nearly always cause a wipe, since I simply have to guess. During encounter 3 & 4, I cannot see which nuclear receptacle is the correct one(s), as the white on them blends into the yellow. The current colour blind options in game affect only droppable items (Engrams, resources, etc.); and the GUI itself. It doesn't affect in-world at all, which would be totally fine (and has been up until now), as colours have never played a major role in the game. Much to my delight, as this has quickly become one of my favourites over the last few months. If the receptacles could be changed to a dark grey/black, similarly to the panels in the first encounter; or have the yellow "identifiers" changed colour based on your UI colour-blind settings, that would be wonderful. This also makes it VERY difficult for me to complete the secrets on Europa involving the drones. This is less of a big deal, since I can simply retry it a few times, or have a friend screen watching me to help; but during a raid it's much harder to coordinate this. While it would be easy to say "just don't use scanner/yellow buff", I imagine this is something Destiny Devs may have overlooked during the raid's development, since it hasn't come up (at least for me) in any other aspect of the game, and the other buff colours don't necessarily matter for actual input (blue is always shoot at boss, and red you can simply shoot at both panels on your side during the third encounter), the rest of the time the colours are shooting very obvious elements, that colour wouldn't impact. Thanks! :) Edit 1: Spelling. • Hi Kairi, just so our developers understand, could you provide a video that shows the specific locations of these issues you're experiencing? This doesn't have to be in colorblind mode.

    • Hey folks! Big news! With the release of Season of the Chosen; the colour-blind options for Tritanopia now work for the Scanner buff for Deep Stone Crypt! The Scanner buff itself; as well as the grid to view the proper panels/Atraks-1/Deposits are Red! While at first glance it can be tough to tell what's operator and what's scanner; the icons are still different symbols, so this is a HUGE improvement. Thanks so much for helping this get attention, and thanks to Bungie for fixing it! Now off to scan to my heart's content! :)

    • Is it possible to see the illusions by looking for the grid it makes? The ones that need to be hit have an outline and grid pattern, so if you see a solid white outline of the body, that's the one you can attack. As for the containers, same idea kind of, outlined with a small grid. I don't know because I can't see what you do, but it's the only thing I could recommend in the mean time.

            • Well said. Like 6% of all males, I too am somewhat color blind, though my issue is with pale reds and greens. I always had problems with the Leviathan raid running the Gauntlet, because of the faint colors used and the added atmospheric effects made it difficult to make call outs. And then there are the Cross Hairs or Dots when using an ADS weapons. Many times you lose them in the background and have to shift the target area over to determine where you are aiming.
