Hey people,
So since latest patch the game is no longer opening on my main monitor - it's opening on the 'top monitor' if you go by the way they're arranged in Windows display settings.
My setup has 4 monitors. 3 side by side and 1 above the center/main monitor. The main monitor is 4K the rest are 1080p and the GPU is a RX 5700XT. It has been working without any issue for the past few weeks since I started playing.
If I in Windows settings rearrange my monitors and put my main higher than the others, then it opens on my main. However with the way they're placed in the real world that created more problems than it solves. But I have never seen this kind of behavior from any software before so I'm lost.
Yesterday and today I've been in a re-install/update nightmare with both the game, drivers, Windows and everything else that can be related to the issue - but nothing seems to work... but everything is up-to-date for sure.
It's only with Destiny 2 I have this problem. Have tested on other games in my library or F2P games that I could just grab for testing and they all open on my main monitor (the one dictated by Windows).
Have tried the Win key + shift + arrow to move it to the correct monitor. It works 50% of the time - the other 50% it makes the game crash. And it will still open on the wrong monitor the next time I start it.
EDIT: A fellow gamer had a similar issue and fixed it by removing both the GPU and the Intel graphics driver and letting Windows detect and install the Intel driver before re-installing the GPU driver.
This seems to have fixed the issue.

1 ReplyHello, Destiny 2 will open on the display you set as your main monitor inside Windows display settings or on your GPU driver panel, make sure you're setting the right one there.
