Pinnacle gear keep dropping in the same slot!
Put it in order at last! I dont need 5 Gauntlets and 4 Hewy weapons 1260 if I need 1 (one) -blam!-ing Helmet!

Out of 18 +2 pinnacles this week I've gotten 2 armor pieces, 1 primary and 15 specials and heavies. It's not rng, it's bullshit.

8 RepliesBungie’s rng is designed to incentivize you when you play little, and punish you when you play too much. Anyway, why do you care? There’s nothing in the game that can’t be completed at 1250 including artefact power bonus.

Yeah you gotta let hitting 1260 as an important goal just go and you'll be much more relaxed. Especially since it's a short season.

Tell me about it, done 10 dsc full raids and got at least 16 shotguns. Multiple leg armour and thats about it. Lol. Grinding bounties for +20 artifact power only for it to be immediately removed the following season isnt fun either.

2 RepliesThis is why I stopped chasing them. One of the IB events last season dropped all kinetic and energy weapons for all 3 character my power level was pretty much the same. That kind of time investment and noting to show for it power wise and the weapons themselves were nothing special. It was right there that I just play and if I hit the cap great if not oh well. I'm not chasing things in activities I don't want to do.

4 RepliesI replied to a similar forum post regarding this same issue yesterday. I believe I may have figured a way to get around the duplicate pinnacle drop issue. Last week I reported what I think is a Bug to Bungie. I did not receive a reply or acknowledgment so take what I’m about to say under advisement. 1-whatever item you want the pinnacle drop to be make sure the character inventory for that weapon or armour piece is completely full(all 10 slots are occupied) 2-once you complete the pinnacle activity the drop will be for that item and go to your postmaster. 3-I have had other players try this and report back that this does indeed work. If you try it please report back the results so we can make certain that I’m not providing any misinformation.

Imagine still getting 1257 drops after 9 Deep Stone Crypt raid completions because all you've gotten so far is 12 shotguns, 14 class items, 13 boots, 5 snipers, 4 LMG, and 7 swords. On my Hunter I got 6 class items out of 8 encounter chests in yhe last 2 raids. https://youtu.be/7ueFmBDNn24 Thats 3 class items per raid 2 weeks in a row.

With how long these seasons are, i gave up on trying to reach max light. You either get it super early or it takes for ever and you finally reach max light at the end.

omg almost every pin item ive gotten was power and a few actually lower light than what i already had, like thats frustrating to do all this stuff and not even get anything

Yeah, from IB I got 2 gauntlets and 2 heavy weapons. :S That's not the way to go up.
