Fix Pinnacle Drops!
Been 2 weeks I just need a class item to get my titan up a level. Did all pinnacles and not one freaking drop. Like seriously bungie. Fix this stupid algorithm you guys have or let people choose their pinnacle rewards.

This is on purpose and by design. There is nothing to fix. If you get a different upgrade every time or the one that you need bungie is afraid you will play less because there is no need to grind. Plain and simple truth. They will not change it

2 RepliesRaid drops are also affected. After 6 full runs, I'm still getting the same two pieces of armor, Chest piece and Class Item. Seriously Bungie, fix your rewards. It gets to the point of fustration to which we no longer want to do the activity any longer. The surprise and wow factor aren't there anymore. How much you want to bet that next week, I'll get a Chest piece and class items.

You got all season, not much difference between 1259 and 1260. Take a breath, it will come when it comes. Did everyone forget about forever 29? It's been this way for 6 years.

5 RepliesAre pinnacles only supposed to drop at +1? I thought it could at least be +2. And doing the pinnacle reward for crucible in Iron Banner gave me a -1 drop today =/...

5 RepliesYep...pinnacle drop weighting should be implemented, it completely takes the wind out of my sails when I have weeks like last season's Iron Banner where 17 of the 24 pinnacles I dropped that week were primary weapons.

2 RepliesI am now up to 12 Pinnacles in a row (across 3 characters) that are either Kinetic or Energy weapons. After the first 3-4 drops, none of them have given me a single point towards the next level.

1 ReplyThey dont care about pinns any longer nor do they care about the grinders. If they wanted to fix pinn drops they would. Bungo got their loot and are laughing all the way to the bank. Exotics, Primes, and Pinns should mean "reward time" ,They dont care about the Vet grinding players...

13 RepliesNot addressing your specific issue, but I thought pinnacle drops were patched in a recent update. I’m at 1250 on all gear, with a random blue dropping at 1251, however as of the Tuesday reset, all drops, powerful and pinnacle, are dropping at 1250. How then do we progress, or what’s the point of grinding if we can’t (progress).

It's been 3 weeks for me. And after my first 2 charters I am not even trying my third this week. I am done with this game. I got other things I can waste time on and get somthing out of it. And the PvP in this game is a joke.

6 RepliesIt’s frustrating to be sure. The grind from 1250 to 1260 base coupled with bad RNG/duplicates definitely makes the game less rewarding to play. I actually noticed a Bug and reported it a week or so ago. No reply or acknowledgement from Bungie though so take this advice under advisory. If you have 1 slot in your armour inventory that is completely full (meaning 10 items) most of the time that slot will receive the pinnacle drop. During my research I had 5 of the same item drop from pinnacle activity completion in this scenario. (I believe it was boots) This week I plan on stacking the inventory slot I need a drop for and seeing if this will work. In all honesty, there is basically zero duplicate protection in this game.

4 RepliesThey do need to fix this. Yesterday I did quite a few pinnacles and my drops were as follow. One mark, one leg, 3 helmets and 4 primaries. As you can see very bad distribution of drops.

2 RepliesI’ve run my first 3 pinnacle drops in the last 24 hours: Strike, Gambit and Crucible. And ALL THREE gave me a heavy drop. Not only me, but a good friend of mine as well; first 3 pinnacle drops were heavies. The odds of this occurring are remarkably low and is raising serious questions about the RNG. Is this bugged? Does Bungie get off on knowing they raised my blood pressure 15 points? Whatever the case, this needs to change or the coming weeks are going to be maddening.

By the way, I agree with you on reward selection capability, but with RNG, it’ll never happen. I went the entire last season needing a gauntlet to max out and never received it. Maddening it is, yes?

3 RepliesI ran the raid last night, got 2 x boots & 2 x chests. From the encounter chests. Also the first drop was actually 1 light [b]below[/b] the last pinnacle from last week how can that happen? Final rant - [b]stop giving low stat armor from the raid!!!![/b] The highest I have had is 63 & one of the pieces from last night dropped at only 56!!
