Unable to damage players, and i appear invisible, partway through a cruicible match
The link above is gameplay of what i described. For reference, im on xbox one, the original one, not the one X or s.
Idk if it matters, since my bud on pc got this issue too.
Sooooooo let me guess bungie. Were not getting trials for a bit longer, aren't we? Shoulda just disabled behemoth titan if they really were the reason.
Sure behemoth titan is apart of your new expansion, but lets not treat cruicible as poorly as it was in d2 year 2. Granted y'all got a lot on your plates, and covid, so some issue's were expected.
Just say trials is cancelled until further notice, or say what caused another delay, and i bet it'll do less damage, than what y'all are causing right now. This situation can be handled better.
Glad destiny is gonna become my secondary game, Regaurdless of upcoming changes.

Same thing happened to me 3 separate times when I used to play on ps4. It's what I call "Major F*** Lag" or just F*** Lag for short. When I first experienced F*** Lag I was on Widow's quart. I realized I couldn't kill anyone and figured it was lag and that I'd die in 5 seconds whenever the lag passes. However, that never happened. I realized I was invisible, invincible, and couldn't do any damage. So did some emotes and posed for some cool photo ops. Second time was on Alter of Flame. I was pissed off when the F*** Lag hit and decided to test something out in spite of Bungies s*** servers. I went for the heavy ammo, and to my surprise I was able to pick it up. I then did what any normal person would do and attempted to blow someone up. It worked! So in spite of what happened I stole heavy ammo in front of peoples faces and blew them up. Third time was on Legions Gulch. I was mad at the F*** Lag and but didn't feel like using it to my advantage and just decided to quit. I then took a vow to never abuse the F*** Lag and to quit a match any time it occurred. Since then I have not experienced any F*** Lag. But if you do experience it you shouldn't abuse it and just leave the match.
