I actually had much better connections in the regular playlist so far, and most lobbies are full off solo players in that playlist as well, which just shows that there is a population issue in the freelance mode, and that the average player just clicks on Iron Banner from the directory without thinking twice. This whole change was a fix that was never needed, they should have just made it so that everybody is in the same playlist and the matchmaking tries to find a similar size of fireteam to match each other (with the best possible connection of course), the way we have it now just ended up splitting the population which will increase queue times and makes the connection worse.

1 ReplyI mean, nothing has changed except matches can now be easily mercied by 6 randoms. Hard to take a PvP game mode where one of the biggest deciding factors is how much you've played to level up.

Freelance feels like a “teamed” version of rumble. Pretty garbage hit and miss. Regular actually feels better and more consistent.

6 RepliesHonestly, as a solo player early in the week (do more clan stuff towards the weekend) I still prefer the normal playlist. In Freelance, all you run into are Trials tryhards with Thorn/Hawkmoon and Felwinter's, immediately joining voice channels, who no life PvP in every game ever, lol.

5 RepliesFreelance was a mistake. Cue times for team banner were awful due to less players. I got mercy'd and broken up to only be put the exact same team 3 times.. All Bungie needed to do was team balance. Instead we deluit the pool even further. It wasn't good in anyway.

4 RepliesAnd for getting the quest requirements spot on. By the time you have done your 15 matches you will have done the weapon requirements and completed the four pinnacle bounties. 15 matches, with some mercies, is a very reasonable time investment expectation. And for having the quest on alts just need the weapon steps, not the match, capture or super requirements so much quicker. A lot to like.

Well seeing as a lot of my buddies are now playing Cyberpunk this has been good for me, being an average PvPer it does help not running into a full team. I would still play Banner either way but this means I don't have to play/get my bounties done whilst crying at the same time...........
