upgraded to ps5 version and unable to get the addon beyond light+season
i purchase the beyond light + season, notice that the upgrade released today and now im having issues getting the same content for the ps5 version....help?

Same issue here. Upgraded my daughter (has linked account with mine) from PS4 to ps5 and today says no beyond light. She’s half way though stasis and now can’t equip it and says buy beyond light to access

I’m having the same issue but I only got the regular dlc. It keeps telling me to get deluxe! When I have beyond light dlc already!!! Help please :(

I’ve been having this same issue for going on a week now. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, signed out and back in, restored licenses, all multiple times. When I try to access past season content (I.e. dead man’s tale), it says it can not access the PlayStation store. Not happy between this and my cross save being turned off without my request, but that’s a whole different bone to pick.

It’s telling me I don’t have beyond light and that I need to buy the season pass again. PLEASE HELP! I bought the expansion on March 15th, 2021.

I am having this issue as well. Have tried playing on ps4 version on the ps5. Played also on the ps4. Deleted and redownloaded both versions individually and nothing has activated the season pass. Please help.

Launch the PS4 version of Destiny (I think you press start on the game icon and you can select which version). You might have to re-download it. As soon as I logged in, everything popped up for me. I checked the season and it was unlocked. I checked on my PS5 and Xbox Series X and the season is now unlocked on both. I would guess you could do the same on the Xbox (launch the older console version if possible-haven't tested this way).

Be happy I suddenly have weird particals in my screen, never had a single issue on the PS4 pro and not with the PS4 version on the PS5 what a joke.

Ps5 version season pass not activated.... So i download ps4 to try.. season pass activate on ps4.. . Deleted ps4 and continue on ps5 Fix my issue

If I run the PS4 version, will I be able to activate it there and then play on the PS4 version? Edit: I just loaded up the PS4 version and redeemed a couple of pass items and indeed, that unlocked the pass on the PS5 version. So a temporary fix if you have both versions installed still.

1 ReplyI have the same problem on Xbox Series X. I preordered the Beyond Light Deluxe Edition but waited until today to play it because I wanted to play it at 60fps. I could access Beyond Light, but I had no access to the season pass, even though I made sure to have all of the various files installed correctly. I logged into the game via xCloud and it was working fine in there, so I claimed some of my rewards and now I magically have access to the season pass on my Series X.

Preordered the deluxe addition back in June and I can’t even access beyond light on my ps5 let alone the season pass. Tried to install ps4 version to see, tried to restore licenses, no luck—just keeps wanting me to go to the PlayStation store and purchase again. Haven’t tried it on my ps4 itself yet but that thing is in a closet now

So can confirm that BL content is active on my ps5, had to "rebuy" the dlc for the ps5 edition. Season pass looks like it's active. But not sure if can get the exotic no time to explain...

Did you add all the individual add ons/DLC again? All should show up as free/downloadable; will need to add each of them.
