Insane screen tearing/stuttering on PS4 Pro
After the update, there’s a lot of screen tear and stuttering both in menu and in gameplay, it is unplayable.
My 4K TV settings are still the same, nothing I can do on my end.

8 RepliesHello. Users having issues with screen tearing and perf on consoles should try the following below in the mean time: • Within Destiny 2, go to Settings > Video and choose “Reset to Default” • This will force FOV/Vsync settings to the intended console defaults

My ps4 pro is just fine on my jvc nx5 display. What display do you have?

I can't play this game on my pro constantly crashes loading into certain planets, playing it on slim and having the same issues

Same here partner... I tried the reset to default in video options. Had a marginal improvement, but still nowhere as good as before the update.. 😔

I’m having really bad frame rate issues on PS4 as well. It’s really noticeable in the tangled shore near spider’s hideout. Also feels like I have more controller input lag when doing anything in the game and I’ve never had issues with that before the update.

Edited by Sienar: 12/8/2020 7:12:04 PMYeah I thought it was just me but definitely noticing frame issues on normal PS4 now after the 12/8 update. Edit. It almost feels like some of the changes made there way onto PS4 because I am getting an increase in FPS in some places and huge drop in other like around tangledshore where particle effects and shadows are at a greater density than other places. Assuredly something is off with the update.

Standard PS4 here, same issue. It's consistently inconsistent and it's driving me insane. This is the first time I've experienced this with Bungie, I hope they get on it quick, no way I'll be able to get my Iron Banner stuff done like this.
