Am I the only one who feels like titans have constantly been getting the shaft from Bungie in general since the launch of D2?

I play all 3 classes a good bit to make sure i have a hold on the balance of the game and the likes. But i do consider myself a big titan main. It seems like almost all of the titan exotics are garbage and uninteresting, there's so few even usable ones and it just makes me sad. We all know hunters dominate pvp and titans the same for pve, warlocks have gotten into a nice spot in the middle. however im seeing that almost all of the titan exotics are bad, i see so many cool builds for other classes and while I can make cool builds on titan aswell, none of them tend to reach anything past B tier at best. I really feel like titans just sorta suck in the grand scheme of things, the only thing we get to use in raids is bubble so it's not like its actually our class doing the work tbh. Imo the big problem with our subclasses is the complete lack of synergy in the perks apart from thundercrash and sunspots. Other classes perks all work together, our subclasses just feel like 4 random perks slapped together that make no sense together. The problem with our exotics is the same thing, its just a bunch of random "bonus perks" if i can even call it that. Our exotics have little to no connection with our subclasses so they just seem lackluster at best.

I think Titans generally are quite strong, but I agree with you that they lack some of the cool builds/building potential Hunters and Warlocks have atm. They're like the "sober" subclass, while the other two are like monkeys on speed.

  • For PVE, Titans have not been getting shafted. If anything, Hunters got shafted with nerfs at the end of Year 1, Warlocks got shafted with nerfs at the end of Year 2, right now, Titans are in a pretty good spot in PVE. For PVP, Titans have always been good.

  • Mmmm melee recharge and heal on melee kills exotic, super energy refill with shield kills exotic, improved glide on any jump on any class exotic. Titans have it good.

  • I play all three and get the feeling it’s Warlocks that get the shaft. They do have synergies in builds but you have to work so hard to make them work. Rifts have nothing on Dodge or Barricade. Most often if you need it and drop it, you’re dead, otherwise it’s a freebie heal for your scampering and charging team-mates. I swear some Warlock exotics actually don’t do anything - too many nerfs to previously decent armour. Occasional powerful ability nerfed to uselessness and shoulder-charge is still a thing after all this time...

    • Warlocks have been getting the shaft. Titans have been treated fairly save for a few overpowered outliers. Hunters have been treated fairly save for a few overpowered outliers.

Warlocks have a lot of useless exotics. For PvP they have like 2 and PvE.. also about 2 or 3. You guys had the run of Crucible with arguably the strongest and most busted exotics in the history of Destiny. One-Eyed Mask, Antaeus Wards, Dunemarchers, Synthoceps, Ursa Furiosa, and probably a few more. Even Hunters have the best exotics in the game. If anything, Warlocks get the shaft. Anytime they get anything good, it gets nerfed into the dirt while Hunters are still super good, and Titans being a close second. As someone that also uses all 3 classes and is a Warlock main.. I can say that your statement isn't entirely accurate.

Not necessarily. I'd say every class has equally gotten both good and bad stuff depending on the mode but if we break down the abilities...I'd say titans were the worst, at least in destiny 2. In destiny 1, titans were a lot more varied with their skill trees (not because they were better skill trees) and each of them felt more unique. In destiny 2, we have 3 nearly identical skill trees on each subclass (besides stasis) with shoulder charge and more powerful supers...but also punch for heal on 3 others as well. Behemoth did perfectly separate itself from the other titan subclasses in terms of neutral game...but honestly, you could make a case that behemoth is what code of the missile should have been like, minus the superior fist of havoc. Warlocks and hunters I'd say have much greater ability diversity that can allow for different playstyles among each subclass. Titans..kinda just feel the same no matter what you pick, which isn't necessarily a bad thing at all, it just got old. In terms of exotics...titans have gotten some pretty stupid exotics, can't really deny that. But each class effectively has trash beyond trash in common.

      • It depends on what PVE you play. For mindless activities like strikes & patrol, Titans are the best and most fun, easily. Soon as you need to do anything difficult, Titan easily becomes the worst. Any raids or dungeon your struggling with just swap to Warlock. (Hunters could use some love in end game PVE also). For me the problem with Titan is: - It focuses too much on the melee. Definitely not ideal if you can only take 2-3 hits off the enemy’s. - It has the weakest class ability out of all 3. - Resilience is the worst stat and basically does nothing. - Poor survivability.

      • It's totally fine if you feel that way. Although if you feel that way as a titan I'd recommend you to not become a warlock main.

      • 90% of armor exotics are useless, it's not just titans. Titans for the most part have really good neutral game and really strong supers. I don't see them falling behind, but that's just me

        • I main Titan and feel that the class has been favored very well. Some of the best "win more" exotics. Ursa and OEM were broken. Extremely different playstyles on almost all of the subclasses. What more do ya want? The neutral won't beat Hunter in PvP nor Warlock in PvE, but you can have loads of fun.

        • Remember when shoulder charge became a one hit even tho no one asked? Yea I do. Your class out of all three, is the younger brother that always gets stuff.

        • Titan interesting, unique and useful exotics that I can think of off the top of my head: look rampant, dunemarchers, feedback fence, ashen wake, oem, icefall mantle, precious scars, heart of inmost light, Antaeus wards, cut and ramparts, insurmountable skullfort, the list could go on. The point I’m trying to make is that y’all are squandering the potential for so many cool builds and uses and you still complain about having the worst exotics. Titans and hunters got arguably two of the coolest exotics in the history of destiny this expansion and warlocks got a visual effect for thorn and dawnblade but not improved at all. Can we spread it out a little?

          • Whenever I play my titan, I feel I have many options to make powerful builds that can work on both pve and pvp. I can use any subclass I want and make a really good build or choose a specific playstyle if I want to. When I play warlock though its the complete opposite, only 2 subclasses are pvp viable and the some are so bad I wonder why its even in the game at this point since its useless on both pve and pvp (nova warp). Titans have really good exotics too, probably the best exotics comes from titans to be honest, warlock exotics are underwhelming, some are always bugged, most are useless and like only 2-5 of them are actually good enough for pvp. Im not mentioning hunters because they always have the best stuff on both subclasses and exotics. Warlocks are the ones that truly get shafted, they already got nerfed within the first week of the stasis release. At least stasis for warlocks are still viable but that melee range actually messed up warlocks because they sometimes lunge instead of using the staff to freeze their targets. Warlocks have the highest lunge in the game so it bugs out which often than not gets the warlock killed. I agree that the stasis melee needed to be nerfed, its still busted and I main warlock! But I cant ignore the fact the melee consistency is now garbage because of the nerf. I feel players should only be frozen from the hip down so there is counter play for stasis, this should apply to all stasis abilities from all classes by the way.
