Why in the hell did we go back to hand cannons having 40 -blam!-ing meters of range get them back down to 27 to 31 where they belong and be done with it you guys honestly do not understand balancing apparently because you constantly do this you take away a legitimate counter and buff the thing that was underperforming and you swing the seesaw all the way back the opposite direction.

Better then the 600 auto spam we had a couple of months ago

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 12/8/2020 1:00:15 PMThe only +40 meter HCs are the new 120s. And those still have one of the worst optimal ttks in the game at 1.0 seconds. Heaven forbid there's for the first time ever almost a reason to use them now regardless of the ttk disadvantage. High impact + aggressive pulses in comparison can get to and over 40 meters easily depending on zoom and have way more competetive ttks at around 0.7 give or take a few digits. 140 hand cannons in comparison are still mostly closer to 30 meters. Ace as an outlier with almost maxed out range stat + memento mori extra damage still 3-taps to only 36 meters. Realistically other 140s are a bit below that. You can still outrange a HC with a pulse easily. I feel the ranges are fine. And the HC ranges are still worse than pre-nerf before shadowkeep. Back then Ace was 3-tapping to around 44 meters.

5 RepliesNah they are fine. They arent powerfull enough to be only possible to use at close range. They arent smgs. You miss a shot you ded. And spamming 25 dmg on heashots at 30m while autos were capable of having max ttk at this range wasnt ok at all

1 ReplyHandcannons take more skill to use than pulse and autos. Not to mention all weapons seem pretty viable right now except smgs maybe. What are you on?

Agree they do have way too much range

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 12/8/2020 3:30:52 PMYup. Base range 120’s can hit to 45m before falloff, with 14 zoom and 62 aim assist. Was playing around with a high cal/moving target/opening shot duke 44 yesterday(if you can’t beat em join em), and it’s absurdly easy to use. The biggest challenge to using them is convincing your brain that a pistol can logically hit crits at that distance. The reticle dot is bigger then the opponents head past 35m, yet you can even put the dot just above their health bar (at which point their head cannot even be seen in the sight window, and still register a crit. Oh, and if you get one with rampage you can two tap anyone at 40m at ONE stack of rampage(or charged with light at any other damage buff really). How broken is that? Just try it. Biggest crutch in the game right now.

No absolutely not

You crybabies want the whole game to be nerfed instead of just getting better at crucible lmao foh

Edited by TonnoSenpai: 12/8/2020 12:34:34 PMi don't see the problem, with perfect ttk 120 get destroyed by pulse and scout , 140 get destroyed by auto and pulse , and if you miss a single shot you get destroyed
