Performance Broken in Beyond Light on PC, especially on Tangle Shore.

So just to start off I have a new 5600x processor and a 5700xt. Issue 1: Tangle Shore 1/2 fps performance For some reason, ONLY on tangled shore. Something is broken in the game files, that kills the fps to half of every other map/area of the game. It seems like the gpu isn't even clocking up, so it's some kind of bug relating to how your game is sending out information for a system to run at a limited environment like there is no gpu present or just no utilizing it. This is a repeatable - constant issue that never changes since the launch of beyond light. The FPS simply gets cut in half an additionally it provides a laggy, choppy, broken experience. I've installed every new driver (4 of them) since Beyond light launch from AMD, and nothing ever changes so I'm leaning towards a game side issue not calling on the GPU. Issue 2: General performance has been utterly reduced, especially with may enemies on screen. The minimums I'm getting in the 40s an 50s are abysmal, and never used to happen even with my ryzen 3600 I was using at beyond light launch before I got the 5600x. This is a cpu side error on the destiny side, since even if I reduce the resolution to 720p, and set every setting to low, with resolution scaling set at 25% of 720p, it sill gets the same extremely low frames during gunplay in busy scenarios. I can't conceive that the fastest gaming processor in the world, can't maintain fps, at a resolution of 180p. (not 1080p, 180p. 720p x .25 = 180p). Please take a look at the code and figure out why this is such a mess. If it has to due with netcode, and how the game is run, then that needs an overhaul on pc. This simply makes zero sense. Issue 3: Same as 2 but in crucible: In crucible, since there are 12 players running around, even at scaling down to 180p (not 1080p), I get the same extremely low fps scenarios of 40s and 50s with a 5600x at both stock and 4.6ghz all core prime 24/7 stable, with a 5700xt gpu. I know Nvidia cards play better with destiny 2 than AMD cards, but I can't accept that at 180p the best processor in the world can't eclipse 40-50fps during gameplay stress. Please comment. I can make videos and show repeatable results if you need hard evidence of the frustrating performance. In comparrission, yes I get frames 144+ in some overworld scenarios, with limited enemies on screen, but the drops to 40-50 just don't make any sense, especially cpu bound, lowest settings at 180p (720p with 25% resolution scaling.)

    • I've noticed this as well, also starting yesterday I cant even land on tangled shore or dreaming city. My game crashes 9/10 times, Ryzen 7 2700x, 2070super. was getting 120-144fps everywhere before BL. now I'm lucky to maintain 90-100fps. I gave up on hunts as TS and DC are the only places im having issues

        • Thank God it isn't just me. I just got a 5700 XT. I figured it was the drivers since I upgraded from a Nvidia 1060 and I heard the new AMD Drivers were trash. Something isn't right.

        • Def not just an AMD issue, my man. I got a 3090 before BL, and during Shadowkeep, it was kicking ass. Since BL dropped, the frame hit has been -blam!-ing wild. Like 30+ fps differences in random areas like Tangled Shore, Dreaming City, and Cosmodrome. I don't get it, but it's not cool. And you're right. It's almost as if the CPU or the GPU isn't being directed properly. It's scuffed.

        • Not just issues on PC i think. Im on PS4 Pro and ever since BL dropped ive been having issues. Mainly on the Tangled Shore and various Lost Sectors. Game stutters momentarily then the PS4 fan sounds like a jet engine spinning up. Its not dust/blocked vent issues. Even went through some other more "intensive" games like 40 player multiplayer matches on Star Wars Battlefront 2, fan and heat output bearly increased. Tried this for almost a full day to make sure it was not the hardware at fault. Put D2 in the next and ran the scorn LS and almost immediately the issue started up. Something definitely not working right since BL came out

          • Yes, they did acknowledged the problem with this megathread here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/257630620 ...But they are giving us the silence treatment. Already a month and a half old, not words about it not even in the known issues list on the twab. Also is not only in tangled shore, that's were is more noticeable, but dreaming city, EDZ are also affected where there's at least a 30% less fps since the BL changes.

            • I haven't paid attention to specific locations, however it's funny that my 3080 gets worse performance now than I used to with my 1080ti before beyond light.
