I’ve ran into a lot of mean people lately on Destiny 2 I understand if I’m not as good as most players but that doesn’t mean everyone needs to make fun of me during the Deep Stone Crypt Raid ): I have a hard time remembering things for personal reasons if you’re up to be a friendly teammate reply to this post!
I’d like to update his saying: the requirements for the group I was in was for beginners of the raid, people who haven’t done it once and needed help learning. I also had a mic and I was communicating well we actually made it to the second encounter but we couldn’t do it because a few people had to go after doing it so long. Also I wasn’t the only beginner in the group! (:
I would like to say I appreciate the kind comments and even the criticism. I’m still playing Destiny 2 just fine after that day and I’m working hard on getting the DSC down that group did help me out even though they were a little rude I really understood how the leader explained it I just felt the need to share my feelings about some of the toxicity I’ve felt playing Destiny 2 (: Again thank you everyone for the feedback!

People in this community are just mean for no reason, imo its not a big deal to teach people. But i feel the majority of LFG teams are usually people who are full of themselves and shit on others who arent as skilled in a pve activity thats the same thing over and over.

If you're still looking to try it, I'm down to help. I'm on Xbox. My GT: Goku 3S. I deal with forget MFers all the time lol. If you're willing to fail, I'm willing to help ya succeed. Shoot me a message sometime.

Hate to say it, but that level of maturity comes with your platform. It's the preferred console of children, and people who miss call of duty.

2 RepliesI felt all if that in d1 where i would get booted because i was young. Feels bad

1 ReplyEdited by Rogue: 12/7/2020 6:25:29 AMDestiny used to have one of the best communities, as the game has declined, so too has its playerbase. I’m genuinely sorry this has happened to you.
-
1 ReplyThat’s rough, hope you find better teams to run it with you.
Not gonna lie though, I saw the title first and I told myself I’m gonna be so disappointed if this isn’t a D2 version of the “Everyone is so mean to me” meme, like with a dummy thicc Titan. Missed opportunity.
2 RepliesI could help you with DSC if you're on xbox!

7 Replieshard core raiders think they're gods at the game, they clear raids do the exact same mechanics 60+ times then do Net work manipulation lobbies in trials to get loot that they are not skilled enough to get because they suck at the actual activity that takes skill and is constantly unpredictable because its not an AI you're fighting

2 RepliesIf you’re (admittedly) a drag on a team, is it fair to them to play with randoms and expect them to take care of you? Name-calling is wrong, of course, but it might be fairer to everyone to form your own groups with the expectations up front.
-
4 RepliesBecause most of the community are terrible people who like to pretend they’re tough guys/gals on the internet, but are most likely little betas who are scared of real confrontation. Sorry you have to deal with that mess. If I was still on Xbox I would team up with you. Good luck.

2 RepliesThe raid is one of the most difficult and hardcore player attracting activities with (I assume, I don't do raids in this game) the best gear in the game. You're gonna get abuse if you don't perform. Just sayin.
-
4 RepliesHonestly this is why i stay solo for me one bad experience will not ruin it but will leave a scar there. I know it happens now and then but ehh i try not to take it seriously but i do worry about things alot, anxiety doesn’t help either. However that being said i will use the lfg on the companion app for simple thing that don’t require communication like dungeons and exotic quests besides that nothing more. People can be cruel, but there can be nice people too even if its rare don’t let it get to you.

2 RepliesPeople shouldn't be jerks... but... It's not always fun to spend extra time dragging a stranger through a raid. So you either come as a full teammate and carry your weight or recognize that people are donating their time to helping you play a video game.

1 ReplyYou can join us later on today at about 4pm central time. You won’t get a free pass we will actually teach you ur roll. Were a pretty funny group. Their is no blame game with us, but you must have a mic lol

Comes with the genre. Impatience runs deep and is everywhere

Being mean is fun. When I was young i bullied everyone all the time and it was the best time of my life. Being a bullie is highly underrated, everyone needs to try it, it's super duper mega fun.

You should never rely on randoms, especially for Raids. Try to find a decent group who is welcoming to new players, or new Raiders. Your entire outlook will change. But yes, randoms are normally total w*nkers, and pretty bad at the game. Always have been.

So, without sounding like an elitist here. But, if you are bad at pvp, and you go into a match, what else are you other than a free target to the “good players”? If you cannot contribute to that match you are in because the “good players” have full control and trying to sweat it out, you are in a sense nothing but texture and free targets for them to score points on. Don’t get mad about it, if you feel like you are in a disposition then don’t play the game. Other wise get better with practice and let someone else be the free kill. Same logic in real life... no need to be a Karen about it. As for pve activities, if you join a team full of experienced players, then you will guaranteed to be a major detriment to the team because you A: lack the experience. B: lack the equipment to assist in the overall efficiency of the activity you joined. Last but not least. Don’t join a KWTD post unless you have a deep understanding of the activity you are about to join, or you will be pissing people off as they are expecting a certain degree of expertise from you. Hence the “KWTD” part.

5 RepliesIt is the elitist attitude some players have. They think the game is only for them and their elite team of players. They are the ones who kick off about something in the game they don't like. They are also the ones who think the rest of us are just there to add texture to the game and be targets in pvp. The only good news is that they are the minority most players are the silent ones who play Destiny to enjoy the game. The problem is finding the right ones to suit you. Try finding a clan not just a team for one activity that you can play with time after time that are willing to bond as a team to go through hell and back for each other.

1 ReplyThe wall is broken the grind is seen

Lol you'd hate to be me then. People legit talk about me daily and theirs a call out map for Atraks with my clan members and I on it.
-
2 RepliesYou want a pretty chill clan that just plays d2? Give us a try. Last couple seasons, this clan has been really Gambit focused, but that’s changed with Beyond Light! New season, new grinds! Sherpa raids and everything. So let’s go, join up and see if you fit, maybe even find a new “fam” 😜😜 We use discord, and the app of course, but it’s not mandatory. Join up, become a rogue...become a part of Rogue Brethren!

I promise not everyone is, wish we could all just chill out a bit more though, disrespecting other players gets us nowhere ヽ( ̄д ̄;)ノ=3=3=3
