Console needs some love from bungie! I can’t use an smg with have issues with its bouncy recoil. Bungie needs to either give PC recoil, give console no recoil or nerf recoil on console. Console players already have a hard time controlling recoil unlike PC. A perfect example is Frostbolt’s most recent video. He was using the Midas Mini-tool (SMG for those of you that don’t know) and was slaying with it. Wanna know why? Because he had no recoil!!! Even on Auto Rifles there’s just stupid recoil. Bungie needs to nerf recoil on console because I feel this topic isn’t visited enough in the community and Bungie doesn’t listen.

3 RepliesOr maybe it could be because you have infinitely more sensitivity and control with a mouse compared to a controller and can control the recoil with less-than-millimetre adjustments which thumbsticks simply cannot do? Something that is seen in every competitive shooter and why cross-play never works when PC is allowed to join the party. No. You're right. It's because Bungie hates console peasants.

Edited by Amazinite: 12/3/2020 2:00:27 PMFor real. SMGs are AMAZING on PC because you can actually use them at range, even if the damage drops off. But on console you’re practically in shotgun range for them to be useable.

Bungie applies a different set of rules that overwhelmingly favor pc players.

5 RepliesThey’re not the same game. We have a different set of rules. It Sucks but that’s the way it is. Bungie didn’t even make D2 for PC. Hopefully this will change with the new optimization Update for Next Gen Consoles update. But I’m not expecting it to. But I am looking forward to an FoV slider and 120 FPS in PvP.
