Its bad enough that you reissued the same iron banner armour 3 times and reissue the same weapons over and over that now you have gone to a new low and reused the same boss for a fourth time(2 variations of the same strike in D1,a nightmare hunt in D2 Shadow keep and now the new raid) because you are too lazy to come up with a new boss is completely pathetic and goes to show how unimaginative you can be.

20 RepliesMy problem with Taniks being the new raid boss is that I don’t know if he is gay or straight. I wish Bungie would make that crystal clear
-
Edited by mikeyrox1234: 12/4/2020 11:06:52 AMI thought it was actually pretty funny 😆 I wouldnt mind if they made Taniks a reoccurring character in the series... we have killed him about 3 times now so why not add on a 4th, 5th, 6th...
-
3 RepliesIDK I liked the rage Taniks had when he saw us in the room.
-
12 RepliesSpoilers my dude. Thanks a lot!
-
11 RepliesHow unimaginative! Taniks having a shank body, taking advantage of all of the raid mechanics, and having brand new attacks that isn’t just shooting a cannon or using a shockwave! How dare you be so lazy Bungie, as to have the boss have the same upper torso in D1, and the same name! HOW DARE you make him more of a threatening appearance that isn’t just a strike boss! Jeez.

13 RepliesIt's what we call a recurrent enemy. It's not new in the world of gaming. Majima in Yakuza Kiwami Kefka and Guardian in FFVI Gilgamesh FFV Ocelot MGS series These are just a few example
-
2 RepliesTaniks has no house
-
So whats his taken title gonna be? 👀👀👀
-
1 ReplyWho would you have made the boss? Let me guess, another one of those people who saw the trailer for the raid and thought we would be fighting exos and eventually Clovis bray himself?
-
8 RepliesEdited by Doc_Roidberg: 12/1/2020 9:20:45 PMThe number of people commenting that it “makes sense from a lore perspective” is driving me up the wall. It doesn’t matter that it supposedly fits. If I have to see Taniks’ ugly face one more freaking time I’m going to lose my mind. And I didn’t even get the little shit’s cloak this go around. And if we REALLY want to talk about lore perspectives, he should be covered in dead SIVA swarms too. But Bungie is picking and choosing what lore fits, and trying to pretend SIVA never happened.

bruh i thought i was the only one This shit is flaming hot garbage

1 ReplyWait til you see arimus was a copy we froze at the end of campaign
-
5 RepliesDon’t worry bro, we getting hawkMoon, templar and atheon soon.
-
5 RepliesWhat's even worse, my favourite d1 strike will of crota was bastardised into that thing what's currently there now. Omnigul nightfall, arc burn, grounded, match game. Done!!!!!!!!!!!
-
7 RepliesWell its impossible for him to come back unless what we killed was a exo taniks (which i dunno is possible) since we now have his head Unless they pull a “that was a exo” thing he must be perma dead we have the guys head now
-
2 RepliesNgl I was expecting a giant Clovis super exo as the boss.
-
1 ReplyI like him as the guy that wont stay dead. Taniks to us is like how we are to the fallen most likely. We dont stay down. But i would have liked a different boss. Imo it would have been intersting if it was aksis instead of taniks. It would have been a big power play plus the shank fushion might have made more sense.
-
They missed an opportunity for us to fight Clovis Bray.
-
6 RepliesI agree. Last Wish did it right by introducing an Ahamkara as the raid boss - something we've never fought before. We could've had something new and awesome waiting for us at the end - corrupted Clovis AI, a rogue exo frame, SOMETHING. That would've been the perfect ending to the raid. But no. Just Taniks. Again. After he was SIVA'd in the first game and Nightmare'd in this game.
-
I hated who it was, but the fight itself was really good.
-
Its not lazy its called repurposed enemy
-
5 RepliesWhen people who have no idea how to produce a game use the word Lazy.
-
Some type of security exo or some machine would have been better definitely. We should have killed him for good, since his head can be placed in the tent near the Exo Stranger so he definitely shouldn’t be coming back
-
Lazy is an understatement, It’s flat out unacceptable at this point. We want new and exciting, not another recycled character bungie my god
-
The boss has Taniks name and that is it. Erimis took Taniks body and made him an EXo. Did you do the Raid? Do you remember Erimis saying "prepare the body". I agree that the nightmare hunts weren't to much different but the Raid fight is totally new.
-
see the meme side of me is laughing his ass off because taniks is the final boss the prick wont die, but lore wise im kind of pissed that eramis isnt the final boss. but the way bungie set up the story and kept teasing that eramis will come back wheater as an exo or astral enemy hinted they are doing raid lairs for deep stone. because of how big the facility is.
