I shouldnt loose a gunfight because someone pressed one button. Its feels so aggravating playing up against this exotic especially with the whole slow affect. I now it has a long cooldown but man something still needs to be changed on it. I guarantee you helmet is going to become a crutch soon.

In the hands of a competent hunter player this exotic literally can be a huge difference maker in high level pvp. Here is an example 1v1 situation on a close quarters map in trials. One player using bakris the other is not. If the player using bakris throws a cold snap grenade forcing the other player to focus on not getting frozen by it. Usually by having to jump in the air. Bakris user has plenty of time to close the distance with them in the air, teleport in slowing them and then just shotgun them. 9/10 times the bakris user will win this fight. Does that seem fair? It is a mobile insta gunfight win in your back pocket if you only use it when you really need it and use it correctly. Not to mention the person using it can literally just yeet in and bait themselves slowing the enemy taking away their accuracy as well leaving them as an easy clap for their teammates. If the slowing effect was removed while using it then I would call it balanced.

It's insanely good but I won't call it broken since 1. you need to use stasis 2. dmg buff does not proc in pvp 3. dodge cooldown is basically doubled(although i don't really notice this). Being able to basically tp out of an engagement is really useful (and surprising shotgun apes) but it's not like you will instantly become a god at pvp by using it

No nerfs are needed for this exotic. Sure, if you find a player who is good at crucible, it’s a lethal tool for destruction. On the other hand, the extra 10 seconds before dodge cool down starts can be really annoying for hunters. When you use it, you have practically no escape options for at least another 21 seconds. The damage buff may work, and pairing it with the slow dodge makes it even more deadly, but I honestly think that Bakris is in a good spot right now. Also, it’s quite a chore to acquire so naturally, you’ll want to be rewarded with something worth your while. On top of all of this, hunters have a completely different play style to learn whilst using this exotic, as they can’t dodge spam and they have to choose their battles and when they should use dodge. If I got to critical health, I’d naturally want to dodge away. With Bakris, I could easily do this. On the other hand, if I had used my dodge in another engagement 20 seconds earlier, I’d be dead. It really just depends on how you see this exotic and I completely understand why people want it nerfed. I myself feel like a monster teleporting behind another player and instantly shotgunning them to death. I don’t think Bakris needs to be nerfed but again, this is my personal opinion.

2 RepliesNo nerfs. It's fine. I have only com across one or two players that use it effectively. And those are generally the better crucible players anyway. Stop calling for nerfs because you have a bad experience. Or lose a match. Or get out played. It happens. Save the nerfing for major efx or weapons that break a mode or an encounter. And then only if it hinders the overall player experience.

2 RepliesThe most OP Exotic in the game. An on demand ground-level teleport, that slows your opponents, whilst buffing your weapon damage in PvP (See Coolguys review) as well as in PvE. It's beyond busted. It laughs at the former OEM.

No. And thank God you’re not a Titan main... Give us all a bad name.

22 RepliesIf you want to play the "shouldn't lose a fight because someone pressed one button" card Titan walls, shoulder charge, warlock instafreeze melee, supers, rockets, swords around corners. 1 button, someone wins the fight. The mask itself is not an issue, it's the same as someone just shadestepping around a corner, yes it's faster and further range...but it adds 10 seconds to your roll cooldown. I'd say Gemini Jester roll spam with max mobility is significantly more annoying.

1 ReplyIt should be buffed. Remove those 10 sec cooldown
-
3 RepliesIt did a thing and that thing led to another thing that caused me to die, therefore, it needs to be nerfed!!!
-
Waaah, nerf stuff that kills me - you, just now.
-
1 ReplyYou didn't die because they dodged. You died because you apparently aren't good enough react fast enough. Sounds like a you problem I've never had a problem playing against it
-
Fussy.

1 ReplyI mean... Dodge with an extra 10 seconds on it's cooldown (with no way to circumvent it) plus no St0mps or Fr0sts.... Yeah, I think it's fine, might just want to space better if you can read your opponents. You have summoned me.
-
6 RepliesNerf the range by nearly 50%, like they did to the warlock melee.
-
1 Reply*sips coffee* Fun fact: yet another Hunter ability that breaks tracking and disables melee hit registration. Still it’s just a different Dodge with a fancy teleportation and a pinch of Arc damage.
-
It’s honestly not even very good. Is it good for quick play and against bad opponents sure. But a good player will predict where you’re going and just shoot you as you come out. It’s what I do and I haven’t had a single problem with the mask. Just fallow the bright blue line. The mask inst worth it over dragon shadow and stompeez. It might give wormhusk a run for its money though.
-
No it’s fine. It’s actually quite easy to telegraph where the enemy is teleporting because of the trail it leaves. That paired with its cooldown makes it pretty balanced in my opinion -an avid titan main

2 Repliesslow has 7m radius its shotgun and almost melee lunge range like come on.

Usually if you call for a nerf you should have an idea of what should be nerfed. The way I see things, It’s balanced. A 21 second cooldown on a movement ability is enough to keep it in check. Not to mention that it’s not like you’re invincible when using it. You can still easily die in the middle of shift, so you need to actually think about when you want to use this ability.

It only slows enemies very close for a second or 2. And that is not the effect of the helmet...that is the aspect.. And as soon as another aspect is released no one will use dodge slow because it has 0 slots.

1 ReplyEvery video game death is due to a button 🤔 The game is not about “gun fights”... It is about guardian vs guardian with the in-game loot and builds that are pieces together. I get what you are saying and respect your opinion... but a group of players on here want this PvP to be something it is not. It would be nice for bungie to add in a PvP mode that focuses on weapons more than abilities... But we all know that is not going to happen any time soon.

1 ReplyBut the helmet literaly gives no pvp advantage.... Gemini jesters, sixth coyote, dragon shadow, wormhusk and bombadiers literaly give more advantages
