Trench barrel or vorpal weapon?
Anyone got numbers? Which one is better for a shotgun?

depends on the scenario. If i am playing a nightfall or gambit, which contain lots of “powerful” enemies, I think I would rather have trench barrel. It quickly shreds enemies and allows me to spend less shots, thus conserving ammo. If I am in a raid on the other hand, vorpal without a doubt if I am using it for boss dps. Constantly punching to proc trench barrel would result in a lower dps, while vorpal does not require any extra work.

1 ReplyTrench barrel may give you more damage per shot but vorpal weapon is always active and you dont lose out on dps by having to melee, I like trench barrel for killing majors but prefer vorpal for killing bosses

1 ReplyIt depends on what you mean by better: Vorpal -> PvP Trench Barrel -> PvE
