Upgrade Modules/old planetary resources - GET IT TOGETHER BUNGIE!!!
Seriously Bungie!! It’s amazing how you find new ways to grind my gears. You tell us to get rid of the resources from planets that were going away; that these resources will be useless and worthless come the new season. But here I am, with zero upgrade modules, and for the SECOND DAY IN A ROW cannot purchase any because I don’t have alkane dust, phaseglass needles or whatever else is “no longer in the game and useless”.
TAKE THESE RESOURCES OUT OF THE GAME COMPLETELY SO WE CAN PLAY THE GAME THE WAY WE WERE MEANT TO!!!
Oh yeah, for crying out loud, add a multi-delete option to better manage our resources. This is a very basic functionality that should a game like Destiny should not be without. One last thing, don’t cap ANY resources. I should be able to hold more than 20 ghost fragments, 10 ascendant shards etc without having to use my post master. Again, simple things...

I 100% agree with you. Because you are 100% correct. There's TWO options to buy upgrade modules. All they have to do is have one dedicated slot for old mats and one for current mats. This should have been patched THE NEXT DAY when the issue first showed up a couple days ago. Instead of manning up and act like leaders of the industry, this sh*t have been going on for several days. Cosmo even doubled-downed and replied to another similar post in a long-@ss defensive rant. Saying in a TWAB that old mats are still gonna be used around - and even that was awfully unclear - doesn't justify the fact that in the last 5-6 days, they were like 85% of the offering. To the awful trolls replying that there is other ways to obtain the modules, you're irrelevant. Those other ways always have been a way to SUPPLEMENT the current system in place ; they were never designed to be the number one source of earning them. This has never been an issue before vaulting the planets. The only reason it's an issue, again, is because Bungie was incapable of handling this transition correctly. What do you expect from devs like that? No wonders you get those kind of reply from trolls on the forums... Ignore the basement-dweller, virgin doritos-eaters. They're like Gollum : sad and hateful. TLDR : This was never an issue before, folks saying there's other ways to acquire upgrade modules are trolls.

5 RepliesOh I’m sorry you can’t have the easy way today of getting an upgrade module. Don’t wanna spend 200 bright dust to drop an upgrade module that you gotta play the game to get? Don’t wanna use your ghost that has perks on it to drop module upgrades? You act as if there’s no other way to upgrade your gear when there is. Lol

They don’t even have to do that. They sell two Upgrade Modules correct? Make one sell for current planetary Mats And make the other sell for DCV Mats. To Bungie: Allow us to vault Upgrade Modules Allow us to vault Ascendant Shards and Prisms too. You’ve always been so out of touch with your game currency and management. If someone wants to vault 1000 golf balls... let them.

4 RepliesThanks for the feedback. Looks like these mods will be the only way for me since I needed them in pinch (didn’t have 24 hours to grind). I guess the rub is that Bungie (DMG4) stated that these resources would be good only for glimmer so I got rid of them all. Had I known they would be useful for other things, I would think have wasted them at the vendors...

6 RepliesJesus Find some other game finally. Anthem is pretty good, Warframe, Borderlands, COD MW has best shooting implementation I ever tried. I guarantee you, Bungo will throw everything you have worked your ass off in the trash sooner or later

I honestly do get why people are so mad about this, They did say that the materials are leaving in the season after Beyond Light. They said to spend the resources that were going away as when they do truly leave (Next season) they are only going to be worth glimmer. I personally kept 200 of each material just in case I wanted to spend them on upgrade modules (Which I have) but spent the other couple thousand I had

2 RepliesThose materials are not being retired until the end of this season, so they should be spent by then... But are still in circulation... Which Bungie has already stated. With that said, if you have found and earned it, there's a Ghost mod that will provide a chance for an upgrade module when you win a Crucible activity. This may help you get it faster than 24 hours

Bungie never said that or anything like that. You either didn't read it, or just listened to hearsay from people who didn't read
