I dunno bungie, its the most pointless destination atm. Well if you look at the loot pool only destination that matters is Europa and the rest feels 100% a waste but this one for some reason it feels extra worthless.
So if we get faced with vaulting next year or the next year after just consider removing Cosmodrome instead of Dreaming City or Tangled Shore.

It’s somewhat useful to me because it’s the only place for me to do the legend and master lost sectors for exotic.
-
Disappointed that grasp doesn't drop from it.
-
Dreaming City has no usable gear. Moon has no usable gear. Nothing to do on Nessus now that Flashpoints are gone. Nothing to do on the EDZ, no Flashpoints Absolutely zero reason to touch the Cosmodrom. They vaulted to much to soon.

Edited by Spawn Of Apathy: 12/1/2020 1:50:02 AMThere’s only so much they can or should do with the space. Being a tutorial area for new players they can’t put end game level activities, like an Escalation Protocol or high level enemies like they had roaming Titan and Io last season. While I loved the high value target Riggs that roam Europa dropping in. It was a bit of a thrill to avoid them when I could shoot them and see “IMMUNE”. lol and it was a thrill to finally kill one with the help of other guardians. But you can’t have that kind of stuff in a Tutorial area. New players getting one-shot in the overworld does not make for a fun introduction into the game. This isn’t Dark Souls. We got to ease them in. Now if they open up the rest of the Cosmodrome and put in some higher level activities on the back side, I’d be ok with that. Also, even less likely, they could put Dawning activities in the Cosmodrome. Drop some snow everywhere, have lots of enemies to kill with snow balls that drop dawning materials and stuff. Turn the Mothyards and Divide into giant snowball fight arenas. lol

5 RepliesThe strike is garbage. The boss is needlessly tanky with too many phases. The nightfall was awful. At least give us strike specific loot! Nope. Trash.
-
8 RepliesCosmodrome is mostly for New Light players to get a grasp of the world and understand why guardians fight. It does its job well That and nostalgia for us D1 vets
-
3 RepliesDon't worry, Luke Smith will sell it back to you and the Bungie fanboys will buy it. You'd think people would be smarter than this and would learn, but oh no!
-
1 ReplyThe Divide is the best patrol space in Destiny history don't @ me. You wanna talk about wasted space? I haven't even been to Nessus once outside of the strike since BL released.
-
6 RepliesCause Titan or Mercury were any better?
-
6 RepliesIt's the tutorial.

Even in Destiny 1 Cosmodrome was the least interesting place, it started interesting with Plaguelands. But even in Destiny 1 Cosmodrome was filled with much more content, more enemies, more majors, Strikes, story, cutscenes. This Cosmodrome is a waste in every possible way, even the textures are outdated. Its not even a remake, its a cheap remaster with just the map without content.
-
5 RepliesMore than likely it'll be used for some new activities. It may be a empty wasteland... But I love it regulardless
-
1 ReplyThey must have future plans for it I'm sure there is no way it's just gonna sit empty like this.
-
But guys, they had to sunset maps so that they can do a rotation of maps with useful content that players will do. That's why they introduced a map with literally nothing to do on.
-
3 RepliesWho would of thought that removing original content from D2 to make space for content that still exists in D1 was a bad idea. Bungie please.....
-
1 ReplyIf they vault dreaming city I’ll probably die of sadness
-
I believe it was soley placed there for new light
-
It's not at all. For starters, E U R O P A. Theres a reason that got added, thats the current endgame area. Second, Cosmodrome is the revamped New Light experience (which is actually pretty good), and takes you across the entire area. Its the introduction location. Other than that, theres a strike/nightfall, Legend/Master Lost Sectors. Its fine, its no more "useless" than the other locations
-
2 RepliesJeez, a little patience maybe? Many are screaming either the OP (and lack of content) - or dear me, "too much grind". Chill out, let it shine. it will.
-
Weren't we supposed to get sceptics prime strike back

23 RepliesOG omnigal was much better imo
-
3 RepliesHonestly I feel like they ruined the omnigul stike a little. The end bit was tight and claustrohobic and that's what made it feel cool. By opening up and basically doubling the ending area, that's completely gone.
-
2 RepliesThere is absolutely nothing to do in the cosmodrome. Maybe it's empty so Osiris and Saint 14 can have some alone time
-
1 ReplyYeah the cosmodrome is pretty damn useless. There’s literally nothing except the lost sectors and the strike. Why would I go there? Shaw Han doesn’t have an armor set to grind for. He doesn’t have weapons to go for. After Beyond Light’s campaign, there should’ve been like an exotic quest for Khovostov or dregs promise or trespasser to make it feel not as empty.

3 RepliesThey vaulted 4 or 5 planets and for what? As much nostalgia as i get it is a total waste of space. Absolutely nothing to do outside of the legend lost sectors.
