Banshee-44 upgrade module material cannot be earned.
Went to buy some upgrade modules from Banshee-44 but cannot because it requires both Simulation seed and Alkane dust planetary materials cannot be earned because Mercury and Titan are both obviously gone.

2 RepliesHaving the same issues so I deleted what I had left of the material being asked for and it just switched to another material we can no longer get so I went through and deleted all the materials that we can't use anymore and then banshee changed it back to the initial material that I don't have... alkane dust. This is so annoying because now I'm having trouble leveling up.

Need to fix Banshee-44 because I can’t get upgrade module because alkane dust and simulation seed have on Titan and Mercury those planets are no exist anymore

I dislike the fact too, but here's a temporary workaround. Buy some Concentrated Mattergems from Eververse for Bright Dust and go kill some elite and boss enemies. Farm Bright Dust from Vanguard, Crucible and Gambit bounties if necessary. I don't like that workaround either, but it's working.

MIght as well throw in my two glimmer to this thread, as this situation almost delayed our raid today. My friends and I waited for today's update, in order to upgrade our gear before a DSC run. It was an unpleasant surprise to see that Banshee-44's requirements of Simulation Seeds (Mercury) and Alkane Dust (Titan), were followed by Phaseglass Needles (Io) and Alkane Dust (Titan). Same problem as discussed here plz come back to work im sure most of you guys have thks giving off but this issue should not have been possible sense im sure you guys know when can not farm the materials

1 ReplyYeah, it is really annoying, I wanted to buy glimmer from the spider but he was it selling for phaseglass needles, of which I have none, and it's not like I can get any because during maintenance period IO was abducted by the developers. So yeah I feel your pain.

Yes, this is really inconvenient, and thoughtless of Bungie. I deleted all my materials from the vaulted destinations the day before the upgrade, and new players won't have any at all either. Banshee-44 has two slots to get upgrade modules, so at least one should accept currently available materials. This is a big oversight, and one that is really spoiling the game at the moment.

2 RepliesYes Bungie what is going on with this. Why would you require planetary material from planets that are DCV and then if you go to spider you can't even buy them!! Looks like this wasn't even changed or addressed at all. Things as simple and easy to fix as this make no since?

1 ReplyAgain today after reset both option for Upgrade Module use matertials from removed planed. For the second day in a row i can't upgrade my equipment, this is very annoing ! Please allow to have at least 1 of the two option from existing materials.

8 RepliesThe fact that non-obtainable planetary material is needed for both options brakes the game especially for all new players! It makes literally no sense to play it this week! For me the only way to obtain upgrade modules right now is due to the eververse. Bungie, do you even play the game? First the "sunsetting" desaster, now this?

This is the really stupid right now..Soooo fukn annoying..couldn’t even level up to do the lost sector for the hunter helm yesterday and now helms are in the 1280 sector today but it doesn’t even matter cuz -blam!-n banshee is selling mods for materials that are on planets THAT DONT -blam!-N EXIST anymore..2 -blam!-n days in a row!!!🤬

4 RepliesThen you’ll just need to check again tomorrow. Bungie said that vendors will still accept all materials (even from vaulted areas) this season.

ya its so annoying, like well i can't upgrade anything or wear gear that is higher lvl but has worse stats and hope for a drop of equal stats to the lower light gear....they should have just had all the old stuff be able to be used as a filler, like hey you got 20 alkane dust and you only have 5 helium...well now you can still get it
