Lost Lament quest stuck step 6
im stuck on step 6 it will not progress ive done the finisher on the vex as stated no update ... is this currently broken ..

Same here, I have the exact same problem.

I had the same problem and tried finisher on Vex multiple places and no dice ....I then had to change characters, picked up the quest again and finishers on Vex worked after that.

I am stuck on step 7 the blade piece won’t drop for me. I’ve literally kill the harpy for other players in the strike and it gave it to them not me

I read on reddit that you can delete the quest and require it from the keyosk in the Tower l don't know if it resets the quest and because I am on step 9 I haven't tried it.

I am having the same issue. To be specific, I am stuck at 65%, so I know I progressed when I first got it and was grinding finishers on Europa. I logged in today to finish and noticed it's not progressing at all. I attempted going to Nessus, Europa lost sectors, etc. but nothing got it to budge. Really disappointed I can't get this sword. I saw a similar issue, where if you weren't at the same stage of the exotic question on alternate characters, it would gate progress at that step. I had the quest at an earlier stage on my Titan, so I tried abandoning it there such that I would only have it on my Hunter. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to have un-bugged it, so it's still stuck.
