Buff Two-Tailed Fox
Probably the worst Exotic heavy, definitely one of the worst rockets

3 RepliesThe one way to buff this is by giving it a catalyst. Like an ark rocket that gives out a concussive blast that staggers or blinds the enemy. the other way is to give it a multi-target lock-on. If they want to be generous why not just both. The thing that holds this weapon back by a lot is that it cannot lock on to multiple targets.

A catalyst that improves damage or adds an interesting, useful effect would be nice. Perhaps a third rocket that has an arc pulse aoe.

I thought it’d have a niche in PvP as how it’s a suppressing tool that work from range. I was so wrong. The rockets just suck. They have this 1 second period where they travel super slow and then start being fast. The issue is, I can’t just jump across a gap(like those gaps above B flag on Banner Fall) and shoot it without being blown up l. By the time they even have speed, assuming I haven’t blown myself up, they just hit a wall cause the super ran away.

While it is a meh weapon, it's not terrible. I do think it needs a rework similar to dragon's breath in D1. Void suppression field similar to the napalm field. I would like to see an arc third rocket catalyst but the load animation would need to altered.

Still needs a buff. Greater blast radius with longer durations for the suppression and burn damage.

It’s a wrecking machine << I soloed my first lost sector at 1225 with the truth rocket launcher. Rockets are amazing and better than ever. Scavenger perks means you can get 4/5 rockets per brick and the wardcliff / two tailed fox is a monster. Yes I have used both ample times. Spire of stars boss gets deleted to the fox and almost more so to the wardcliff (depending on hits and rockets random patterns.) Test out different builds and use two scavenger / surplus perks in Chest armour builds. Rockets are better than ever right now.

Not entirely sure why they don't do anything for them though. Their perks are boring and pretty much suck and you can't really create anything unique except for exotic level perks...but even still most exotic rockets in destiny are just "more rockets" as their perk.

It has insane damage per shot. It can kill champions almost instantly when you build your character correctly.

It does need a rework. There are far better options out there. Like the new rocket from Europa that has chain reaction, built in tracking, and you can roll moving target to go along with it?! For an advantage in tracking? God the grind for that rocket is going to suck if rng is not on your side. I feel like the two tailed fox was made only for the tangled shore strike with the two hive witches that are void and solar... in the last seconds of said strike when their health is so low you can melt them with side arms. 😂

Pretty sure it smacks with that charged with light mod for rockets.
