The problem with adding stasis to these weapons is that there are currently no stasis shield enemies in game. One of the main purposes of elemental damage in pve is shield breaking. No enemy type have stasis shielding, and it’s likely that if they added one now, yet would literally be for just one type of enemy. There will still be more elemental shields of all other types in content.

While I agree it wouldn't have too much use it would help with bounties and mission objectives. I'd say for now at least let stasis work with osmosis, I think that would greatly improved the value of the perk.
