I played alot of Destiny 1 on ps4 back in the day and when 2 came out I got it for PC. Please just add an option for it already in the sound options cause im sick and tired of my guardian always being treated as if im "new" and have never done anything in the past. Its been 3 years now. Just make it happen already and please dont pretend its hard to do. Its not

I think as long as you played Destiny 1 a good bit you should be able to have VD in Destiny 2. No matter when you did. I think it's the most stupid asinine bullshit that you can't get it anymore. I've been playing D1 since 2015 on the 360 and I can't have VD just because I didn't know about the account transfer thing? What a load of garbage. I literally can't play Destiny 2 at all because of this. It's like working a job for years and everyone treats you like you just started yesterday. So until they fix it I'm not playing that garbage game. Which will probably be never.

3 Repliesremember when you had to earn the best armor in halo 3 from completing the hardest achievements? well thats kinda how veteran dialouge works for destiny 1 vets. you earned it cause you grinded out craziness in the first game. then bungie literally gave destiny 2 away for free to new light people and they all just want stuff given to them. earning a reward makes it so much better to have than just being given a reward for doing nothing.

1 ReplyIkr,i played destiny 1 on ps4. i was doing beyond light campaign on my titan yesterday and the exo stranger said this. Exo stranger: i know, i need some explaining to do. I once asked the guardians to kill the black heart in the black garden. **-blam!-, I killed the black heart.

4 RepliesYeah and give Omnigul her name back. Nevata? What the heck is that joke. Also someone tells Shaxx that we’re using darkness now. And update all NPCs dialogues, many of them are just ridiculous and out of context now.

7 RepliesVeteran status is for well.... veteran characters. Saying you deserve that status with new characters degrades the whole reason of that status. As any PC created character did not play D1 they don't deserve it. If you want your characters to have veteran status you need to import your D1 characters into D2 using the account that you used to play D1 and then cross save with that console account as your main.

6 RepliesI'm fairly certain there isn't exactly any fair way to just allow it to be enabled. Like you need some sort of parameter to determine someone on PC is a D1 vet, and that'd probably require some account linking and then permission in the game to do so, with a option being granted access... Now you have to ask the probability Bungie invests in all of that. Which is likely 0.

New people are tired of hearing things they never did too. "Took out ghaul, saved the traveler" "killed gods" "cayde reference here"

I know that I could copy my PS4 account over my Steam account to get the Veteran Dialogue. It's just that I've played Destiny 2 for quite awhile before this option was available and I don't want to have to start over on Destiny 2. So either could we just have an option to enable Veteran Dialogue or could my overall account be considered when deciding whether I should hear the Veteran Dialogue. For example make the Veteran Dialogue linked to the Player not the Guardian. Either of these options would be acceptable to me.
