Hi! Could you please provide an update - unfortunately the game looks absolutely terrible + I feel like I'm at a bit of a disadvantage in Crucible on the nessus maps where I can barely see because of this issue. WIll this be fixed in the Dec. 8 rollout of the next gen versions??
-
No, it won't be fixed then. I'm not sure when it will be fixed.
-
Hi again - any update on this? I would really like to play this game the way it is supposed to look again. This is an incredibly frustrating bug.
-
Can you at least add this to your known issues on the support site? I still do not see it and want to be confident it’s being addressed
-
That is an incredible bummer to hear.
-
This didn't fix the issue for me either. Same blown out affect on blacks, with lots of magentas and blues coming through.
-
Any more updates?

Its really bad on Xbox One X. There is a really bad magenta hue in the shadowing where there shouldnt be. Only in certain areas though. The tunnels in the outskirts of javelin-4 in crucible is a really good example. It makes it hard to play due to rendering/coloring issues. Then you add in smoke grenades and stasis ect... its terrible at times. I thought it was my tv but this is the only game it happens in. I tried your troubleshooting steps and it did next to no good. Please fix soon. It is kind of ruining the game. Hurts my eyes to play and this is my favorite game. Also happens alot in PVE. Any darkish areas have alot of magenta that shouldnt be there.

This fix was put out bye (hdtv test). On YouTube almost 2 years ago. This is and was how I mostly solved the HDR issue then. But now this is something else. I am have the same exact issue as the person who made this tread. I’m also on the series X as well the 48’ lg oled cx. Some pvp maps are almost unplayable and Nessus is horrible. Honestly I do want to spent any time in there as it only makes me mad now. Please pass this info along. To who ever can put a fix forward. This is a wide spread issue. Many of my friends and clan mates are having this problem too. Most don’t come to the forums. To say what there dealing with. Any word on a patch possibly? Very unpleasant gaming experience. Any info would be great..

tried unsuccessfully
-
Yeah unfortunately that doesn't fix it, neither on PC, PS4 or PS5 something went wrong when you made changes to the engine, especially on Nexus. There is literally no fix for it if you have a high end viewing device, it's too accurate.
-
just to add here - for what it's worth.. - I've tried uninstalling and re-installing with no luck - The SDR setting was already set at 4 when I tried the above suggested fix - I'm using HDR Game Mode on my LG OLED CX model - I've cycled through different picture modes and the issue persists Hope any of that helps!
-
Hi , I’ve been having so many issues with this. Is there any update on an actual fix anytime soon ?
-
Did you have any luck with their suggested fix? No change for me..
-
Nope. It’s didn’t work. I tried it twice after hard resetting too :(
-
There is no fix to the weird color tones and shading. It is something that Bungie has to fix.
-
I've tried everything man no luck, apparently this was an issue way back when then was patched in black armory but with the new lighting updates its back, mainly an issue on EDZ, Nessus, Crucible, and Gambit
-
Ugh this is such a bummer. This game is such a good showpiece for HDR and I literally hate looking at it right now. Please fix this Bungie!!!
-
Thank you! But no luck :( Any other suggestions?
