I haven't tried everything on this list yet but so far I'm still getting stuttering even after going window mode and deleting the CVARS file.
I dunno what else to do except to try playing on my PS4 but I'm tired of having to delete 3 or 4 games to make space on it so that's a last resort.

Step 1 - In steam application go to settings and clear out the cache. You will need to sing into steam again once the application restarts. Step 2 - Go to your steam folder where your game is which should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ and whatever games is there that you do not have downloaded anymore & delete those folders. Step 3 - go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Destiny 2 & for the destiny application icon right click and go to compatibility tab. Check the Run Application as Administrator box. Hopefully this helps with the issues because i was having serious issues such as game pauses, FPS drop & not being able to complete the story on cosmodorm. I have not had any issues once i did this steps. Best of luck guardian :)
