Unable to complete Born in Darkness Pt. 4 (8/9 Entropic Shards)
Hello!
Earlier in the week I spotted the Entropic Shard [spoiler]under the stairs in Riis-Reborn Approach[/spoiler]; when I did this no specific triumph progress popped up but I did get some XP for popping it.
With the release of Born in Darkness part 4 today I'm unable to complete it, as I've popped the other 2 remaining shards (in [spoiler]Kell's Rising[/spoiler] and [spoiler]Technocrat's Iron[/spoiler]) and the shard I popped earlier in the week neither counts in triumphs nor respawns to allow me to shoot it again.

I get frustrated when I have to leave the game to go look up stuff because the game doesn’t give you much direction. Seriously I’ve got to go to the Internet to find the shard locations or just drive around aimlessly and hope? You should not have to leave the game to go to Google and find the stuff.

Also having this issue. It’s extremely frustrated being locked out of content because of a bug.

Edited by Skill Privilege: 11/24/2020 2:57:42 PMI'm also having the same issue. I ran through the guide and tried to complete all 9 again. The one in Technocrat's Iron is missing for me. I'm 8 out of 9. It's not appearing. It's not fun when you can't progress your character.

I got mine fixed, here is what I did: Return to [spoiler]Bunker E15 Lost Sector[/spoiler] and reshoot the location even if the shard is not there. I pulled up a picture to get an approximate location of where the shard should be. Once I shot it, it completed Born in Darkness part 4. I hope this helps someone else on this list. :)

Same issue for me, I'm pretty sure I haven't broken the one in kells rising but it isn't there so either I did and another one is broken or it hasn't spawned or something because I'm stuck at 8 of 9 aswell

1 ReplyI went to the concealed void lost sector and the shard reappeared. I heard bunker e15 resolved the issue also.

Aspect of Destruction is the quest name. I am having the same issue. 8/9 shards and I have all 9.

Having the same issue, I've re-ran through all 9 and shot where they should be as per some peoples suggestions however that didn't fix it.

Yeah I've been having the same issue, I think it was the [spoiler]one by creation that didn't count[/spoiler] but I'm not sure

I am having the same issue though I have already receive the Triumph and collected the Shard hologram and the Lore.

The quest is broken because Bungie sucks at making content that actually works. I have all 9 and can't complete it. It says 8 of 9. I followed a video guide and when I shot the 9th one in Creation is doesnt do anything.

So if you’re trying to collect shards to complete part four no wonder it won’t complete (that sentence was a joke). Edit: The quest you’re talking about is not born in darkness part four its “aspect of destruction” which starts as soon as you finish born in darkness part four the misunderstanding is completely understandable.

Same problem. Stuck at 8\9 after getting the newest available shard today. All done on the same character but before I got the quest telling me to get all nine.

same bu here, ive spent the last 3 hours, reshooting all 9 3 times, and still nothing, unsure which one didnt count for me
