Okay, let me tell you that shadebinder is still one of the stronger subclasses in the game.
Penumbral blast was downgraded from mid-range to slightly-longer-than-shotgun range. It’s AoE still makes it one of the more dangerous melees to get hit by thanks to the ability to incapacitate a player for 1.35 seconds, which in a team fight can end up being an advantage. Iceflare bolts only makes that even more of a hazard depending on how competent teammates are at prioritizing, and if they have that aspect on as well.
While not as absurd, Winter’s wrath is a super to be cautious of. Getting frozen is a near-guaranteed death sentence when the evil dubstep drops the bass.
Coldsnap grenades are an all-class nerf. Nothing surprising there regarding it being the homing grenade.
So even with the nerfs, the subclass is still dangerous in the right hands.

I’m fine with changes, one class being targeted for over aggressive nerfs while the rest aren’t touched is bad balancing.
