Main problem is that we don't know what the other aspects for the classes are. Both hunter and titan got some crazy alternate movement abilities as their first aspect.
If there is a planned alternate movement ability for the warlock. The other classes don't need much adjustment.
Freeze duration changes, are completely fine.
The nerf to the warlock super duration is debatable.
And the range nerf to the melee ability is quite obviously too drastic. Adding a "use melee ability" button would make me fine with the change. There has already been a plethora of times I wanted to use the ability, but the game said "NOPE, NORMAL MELEE TIME".
Before the melee was able to be used as an offensive ability. Now it's purely for defense. Really only useful if someone is running at you.

This player nailed it. Warlock melee now has a small window between you can't use it if your to close, and now if your to far away. In pvp an enemy can close the gap before you can use it. One thing I would add is I don't know if the freeze duration is the same across other classes haven't had time to check those out. As long as they are the same.

Hunters get to keep their 5 second freeze duration. Big surprise the broken hunters didn't get touched yet again while warlocks get shafted.

Thanks guardian! Hope Bungie realize this. That's less than half of how long other class melees freeze.

Why would warlocks need alternate movement? You do know the classes are meant to be different. Everyone doesn’t need a carbon copy of everything everyone else has. That’s boring, first of all. Second, and most importantly, I refer you to top tree dawn blade. If you want a highly maneuverable sub class for a warlock, it already exists. You’re welcome.

Top tree dawnblade top tree dawnblade thats all people say. How about this don't you think we are tired of playing top tree dawnblade? And that is on one single subclass, hunters have movement abilities on every subclass and titans have a movement ability on two subclasses and pseudo-movememt abilities on a couple more. Why shouldn't warlocks get more movement abilities? Why should we be sitting ducks all of the time? And please stop mentioning top tree dawnblade when bungie forces us to use that class almost exclusively it even has a sub-par super. So you are welcome I have you knowledge.

Edited by RockNotABoulder: 11/20/2020 10:16:32 PMAlternate movement abilities aren't carbon copies of each other. Hunter has a dive. Titans have a big boi slide. Both of which provide options to shatter their stasis that doesn't take any type of ability energy. Warlock doesn't have that (yet), and they have nerfed the living shit out of everything in shadebinder so far that made it unique. Also. Tone down the snarkyness. I know what subclasses exist.
