I am unsure about how well known this information is, but I want to say it anyway. I was reading a lore book and one of the pages told of a conversation between Mars Sov, the Stranger, Anna Bray, and Zavala. They were discussing the dangers the darkness poses and other stuff. But what was really interesting was what happened to Zavala. Zavala had a vision of the Traveler. During the vision, he says something like “Don’t leave us, give us a chance like you did before.” When he exits the vision, he states that the Traveler intends to leave. He also states that he will try to stop it. So, once more, the Traveler will attempt to flee and leave us to fall into darkness. Is the Traveler the god we make it out to be? What will happen if the Traveler is trapped on Earth and it is consumed by darkness? The darkness already tempts us. It offers us “truth” when the Traveler does not reach out. The end is near...
