The super nerf I get. The light has a splash freeze effect and the heavy insta-kills frozen targets AND it has absurd range that goes through walls.
The melee? Like, why? You thaw out before you can even break out. There's no chase option either, it'll just be used to stop screaming apes, which can be done by Glacier already.
Coldsnap was needing a nerf. It tracks around cover, insta-freezes, and chains. Duskfield might pull enemies away from cover, but at least they can fight back for a few seconds and hope to get the kill before they get killed in return. If you get Coldsnapped, it's a death sentence. Maybe you can jump to avoid it, but that puts you at risk of being duck hunted.
Personally I'd like to see the melee get buffed to 20 meters with a 2 second freeze duration OR have it's speed increased by 20% again, so Warlocks have a chase option. That's the only thing that's really needing a change right now. Once we get the other Aspects and can further enhance the class, we'll know more about what should and shouldn't be nerfed/buffed.

Does it really need more power? The super is basically top tree Dawn but with freezey powers and can shatter through walls. With top tree you have to at least aim, with Shade you can splash freeze someone behind cover and shatter them, all from the safety of your own cover. Right now the super is fine. I don't know about pve, I'm a Hunter main, but for pvp it's still very powerful. Like I said, my main issue is the melee now. Shades don't have any chase options. Revenants have Bakris and Behemoths have Cryoclasm to both evade and chase. Shades have... Well, they don't have much of either since players will thaw before they can break out from the melee.

This was a huge over correction. It just needed tuning and not nerfed into the ground.

Hunter has a freeze and slow to freeze effect, nether of which instantly kill frozen opponents. If anything, Hunter is the weakest of the three. Titan can encase in a cone while creating crystals everywhere, and shatter frozen enemies directly in front of him. Warlock CAN FREEZE ENEMIES AROUND A CORNER AND SHATTER THROUGH WALLS. The nerf DID NOT change that fact. The ONLY things that got nerfed was the durations, 30 seconds down to 24 seconds for a 6 second nerf, and heavy attack no longer affects opponents who aren't encased in ice. How the hell is that "nerfed into the ground"? The super is still amazing. It's literally the best super of the three. Now instead of being better by literal -blam!-tons, it's only better by miles.
