I have a good rig consisting of an i7-8700K CPU and a 1080 TI GPU.
Prior to the release of Beyond Light, I was averaging 120+ FPS uncapped while running the game with the lowest in-game graphics settings. When Beyond Light launched, my average FPS dropped to 70-80 and I experienced frequent frame freezing. Also, whenever I tabbed back into the game, my screen would flicker black for a second before returning to normal. I tried to resolve the screen flickering issue by rolling back the latest GeForce driver but did not have any luck.
Now, with today’s Hotfix 3.0.0.3, I am averaging 30-50 FPS. Crucible and Gambit, in particular, are unplayable for me. Again, I rolled back my driver but did not have any luck. Similarly, I went into the CVARS file and set the “Low Latancy Mode” value to “0”, as I had read on these forums that some members had some luck with it. Unfortunately this did not help me.

I have hit an all-new low of 6 FPS. Let's go!

In the CVARS try turning on "force_enable_multi_threaded_render_submit" value="0" change the 0 to a 1. It seems to work for alot of people getting the frames high again but there is a horrible shadow flicker. I tryed it on for a while but the flickering is just too annoying. Lets just hope bungie fixes this soon.
