Thank you whiners and youtubers, not only is this pvp ruining pve again, it's Bungie yet again with a huge kneejerk overnerf shitting only on Warlock and only Warlock, because Warlocks are not allowed to have anything nice. I'm not saying it didn't need some tweaks, but those reduced numbers are overkill. It didn't need so many changes at once, nor at such a huge reductions to every single stat either.

Warlocks need justice! Stop f***ing with our supers and melees. I understand op things need to be nerfed but over nerfed is too far... The complainers that are hating on warlocks are titans and hunters who are dominating PVP most of the time. Why can't warlocks do the same? Shade Binder is a super design base around the melee attack. Nerfing the melee from 28 meters to 16 meters. That's, that's overkill! Why create this super if it is built around the melee attack that you Bungie ran into the ground? Shade Binder and Nova Warp and its HHSN need a buff. Who's dominating PVP titans and hunters are the most. Just let us have something good for a change. As a warlock main it is hard to really enjoy my class because the haters (Titans and Hunters) just can't stand the real master class being on top.

4 RepliesHonestly it's along the same line of nerfing Well for no damn reason. Nerfing something so hard in PvE is just stupid.
-
3 RepliesThe freeze time is bullcrap. That should not have been reduced by that much. Hunters be making it sound like its soooo hard to freeze someone with auto-tracking blades. And the super nerf was uncalled for. It feels like too much time is spent on freezing and not enough time is left for detonating. If they decide to keep the super duration at its current level, then the cost of the attacks should be reduced.
-
20% speed, 72% freeze time, 20% super time, 57% of the usable melee range. Another subclass that will only be played when a quest forces it. Sigh.

2 RepliesWARLOCK 20% melee speed reduction. freeze duration from 4.75s to 1.35s melee range reduced from 28m to 16m. ice flare bolts freeze duration from 4.75s to 1.35s. ALL coldsnap grenade tracking speed reduced 23%. freeze duration from 4.75s to 1.35s CONCLUSION Overkill, and especially because of the grenade with the aspect tied specifically to it. 1.35s of freeze duration is trash, it does not allow optimal utility or use of abilities nor does it feel as if you used an ability to potentially punish an enemy, it went from having little to no conunterplay to being inconsistent as best and useless at worst. (which happens more often) The same happened with penumbral blast, too many nerfs all at the same time without thinking about the effect it might have as far as balance in the game. Stasis warlock melee already has an innate distance to where it has deadzone to activate their melee ability. Now on top of speed reduction, a range cap, and freeze reduction making the melee activation extremely limiting. The super adjustment seems fine regardless, as it was glitched in pve and a bit too much in pvp, 30s duration down to 24s now. If anything coldsnap grenade needs to be brought up to 2.5s freeze duration. The Iceflares should be should either be the same duration or 2s.

Lol screw this dlc I’m not getting it bungie already blew it they Should have left the game ALONE

25 RepliesI made a post about it and I called it. It was going to get annihilated before it even ran its course. Titans got it nerfed. Striker was broken for 2 years before got got a tweak novawarp was destroyed in a month. Stasis didn't even last 3 weeks.
-
1 ReplyYep and 2 years later look at Nova Warp and HHSN. Barely used. Meanwhile hunters have had OP Spectral this whole time. Even Titans got a year with OEM. Warlocks have a good subclass? Let’s nerf it days after release. Both Nova Warp and Shadebinder along with there main ability HHSN and Penumbra Blast were done dirty. Let’s see that new engine Bungie and fix both of these classes.

Bungie has closed my neat and argumentative thread: ''STOP f*cking up warlocks again. How much more?'' with the comment: ''This topic violated the Code of Conduct, and was met with Ninja Justice''. . after I got a lot of approval and 400+ comments. Ok devs you definitely gambled it away with me. Refund is coming: Just one week after the release of the new title, the manufacturer has broken various promises and regulations. Several contents of the game had to be deactivated at short notice due to bad programming and player exploits. The game was heavily penalized for one character class by a drastic update and is too hard. There are many cheaters in the game and there is no anti-cheat system. Complaints and suggestions for improvements in the manufacturer forum will be deactivated after one day if they reach too high approval.

1 ReplyIv been playing all three. Warlocks by far were the best and easiest to use. To the point where it wasn’t fun. Ever since getting a year of middle void warlocks think they need the best of everything or it’s unfair. Not saying I agree with the nerf it should have been balanced before hand. I do think stasis as a whole is broken in pvp especially warlocks. Before you start saying this is a pve game realize at the end of seasons and while no content is coming out it tends to be pvp people that keep playing. Pve gets old fast where as pvp is a new experience every game. Pvp is an important element of destiny. Compare stasis to d1 supers to provide perspective.

What YouTubers lol
-
In comparison to the other stasis classes, shadebinder is way overturned. I mean, an instant freeze melee? The Titan melee is iffy more often than not, and the hunter melees require two for a freeze. Aside from that, yeah, the super was a long one considering it has a massive area of effect as well as having considerable range to attack from. You don't need to close the gap at all. Just switch between light and heavy attacks as needed.
-
Shadebender is still very strong so I really don’t know where you are coming from. Stasis in general is still too strong in pvp as getting frozen is still a death sentence.
-
2 Replies"Shadbinder" The Binding of Shadman?
-
3 RepliesImagine having a melee that freezes people at range and a super that is practically cross map kills. AND still crying like a little girl... shut up
-
The melee is iffy. But the class is still ridiculously powerful. The melee would work better if we could control when the charge was used.
-
10 RepliesHAHAHAHA you deserved it. Top tree dawn is still untouched so stop crying, you get the most broken supers and complain when bungie nerfs them. Hunters have mid and trash tier supers, the worst for pvp, and like 2 useful pvp exotics and we don’t complain.
-
3 RepliesThey nerfed it because of the raid.
-
Deja vu all over again.
-
4 RepliesEdited by Sarcastreaux: 11/21/2020 12:32:46 AMI don't wanna hear it. At least the warlock melee still actually FREEZES! The hunter shuriken only slow enemies if you don't get the kill. Get over it!
-
They only whine about it cause their only get effected when they get hit by it, when you actually miss a lot

3 RepliesI just ran through the story on my warlock having done titan first and holy shit the super is atrocious in PvE. Can't tune any better than this? Lame.
-
2 Replies*bungie has seen a rise in top tree dawnblade. *bungie sunsets warlocks.
-
Dude! Not just warlock stasis was nerfed. Hunter and Titans freezing also lasts shorter too. Also, the range was 28m on the melee, and more powerful than any hammer/knife/celestial fire with less activation time! Understand that it is right on par with other melees at 16m. Also the projectile speed nerf means you will actually have to aim without making it unusable. This is nowhere near as harsh as the HHSN and nova warp nerf was!!!

1 ReplySelfish and ignorant post. Did I say selfish?
