Why is there not a single Community Manager on the forums, yet DMG04 finds time to tweet every hour or so?

I have noticed a number of people, not only in this thread, suggesting that this forum is a cesspit of negativity but whose fault is that if some comments are. Bungie does not provide adequate moderation here so there are comments which are phrased perhaps not in entirely suitable language. Of course people get frustrated and angry if they feel that their concerns, whatever they are, are being ignored. We all know that the community managers don’t even read this forum let alone ever respond. This situation is entirely the fault of Bungie as they hold all the cards.There can be no easy fix but without the will of Bungie to increase moderation and to start responding this forum will continue to be the poor relation. Unfortunately I do not think that Bungie Community Managers care or can be asked

Also Bungie isn’t going to walk any of these back si there really isn’t anything to discuss. They’re going to let us rage until we either exhaust ourselves and accept the changes.... ...or quit and go play another game.

They get ratioed every damn time, and people with pronounces in their bio can't handle that well. To get in any kind of contact you have to get to 2 worst places on the internet, twitter & reddit.

As someone whose worked in community management - it's worth pointing out the distinction between a community manager and community moderator. Their role is not to have a continuous conversation with us, rather to feedback what people are saying to the Bungie team. And as others have said, whenever they do leave a comment, they get flamed - so it's difficult for them to just 'chip in'.

For the same reason your post got moved to the #companionapp tag (wut? lol) It's getting pretty disturbing to be honest.... I love a lot of aspects of this game, but it's getting harder and harder to keep supporting it.

Cause over half of Bungie has gone political, which is one reason why theirs sooooo many problems with Beyond Light. If they'd paid more attention to the game, like they do to politics, they'd have a half assed game.

Some of the people on here need to be asking themselves this question. I'm not exactly sure but I have a hunch that it might have something to do with the fact that adults don't react very well to pure unadulterated non-stop hatred. Not acting like I'm better than anyone because I can fall into it too but if you've actually read a lot of posts on here, especially after they just got finished busting their asses to put a game out, you really don't need to ask that question.

Cause they hate people here. Their own website gives them shit for the terrible job they do from time to time. while other platforms, everyone kisses their ass and if they don't. They have the power to remove the mean threads and it don't actually make them look like jerk offs. Like it does here.
