Stasis is the DUMBEST thing to enter PvP
i literally dont know how to express my frustration with how Bungie pushed back the release of beyond and KNOWINGLY released the single most broken element into PvP
Edit - freezing should not be a mechanic inside of crucible. A slowing effect should be AT MOST what happens.

38 RepliesStasis can easily be countered. It is annoying when you get frozen, but if anything, the supers don’t feel as scary as a striker about to flick you. The Hunter one is slow af, Warlocks obviously can’t keep up (lmao,) and Titans are too busy admiring there own crystalline structures from the ground up Along with the supers, the grenades are easily counter able as well. You just have to make sure to move out of the way. Like all grenades! :)

I would actually like to see an mmorpg approach. Where your sub class means something per countering. Ie you are not going to freeze a solar sub class etc. As of right now, I agree with you... but I would love to see more of a counter solution rather than just getting rid of it. Saying that... I honestly feel like this was suppose to be a winter time event more than a full on change. They needed content to make the dlc feel more robust... but since the effects make no sense and the sub class has its own node to pick it... I am pretty sure this idea was born from event ideas more than a darkness direction. (Hint... snowball fights in the tower that would freeze players)

Bruh the freeze is very brief, it’s 1.35 seconds unless someone hits you with their super, wall grenade or you stand in the field grenade. Yeh the warlock melee does but the range and speed nerf have brought it way back into check. I’m a warlock main, I knew it needed a nerf. It got it. Is freezing still that bad? No, it’s much more in check so stop whining. Good job in the fast nerfs bungie, I’m a supporter of them and appreciate the hard work and effort put into these subclasses. Give us poison next pleaseeee!
