I can't start Season of the Hunt

Hi there. I decided to remake a guardian for Beyond Light. I picked up the artifact right away last week so that I could optimize the efficiency of my experience gains, but now I'm stuck at the milestone step called [b]Vanguard Communications[/b], which says "Visit Zavala's Office for a gift from Osiris: your Seasonal Artifact." Since I picked it up last week, I can't pick it up again and advance the season quest. If I hover over the quest in the Tower, it just tells me to listen to the transmissions. I believe I've listened to all of them, and now it's not giving me the interact prompt. Nonetheless, I've logged in and out multiple times, and no matter what, it seems that I can't access the seasonal content. I know a prompt response is not to be expected, but this is [i]super frustrating[/i] given that in order to optimize my raid readiness, I have to access that content within the next few days. If I don't receive a prompt response I'm going to have to remake a character and redo everything I've done this week, even though I'm not even sure if that will even fix the issue. I've attached a link to some pictures of what's happening. Any help, especially of the swift variety, is appreciated.

  • I found a work around!! It requires 2nd person though and it also requires a 2nd character that has access to the first quest for season of the hunt. Basically if you start the quest on the character that does have access then have a friend join. then you need to switch to the character that doesn’t have the quest and join and it should update and give you the quest. It worked for me, let me know if it worked for y’all

    • A friend of mine has the same problem. Is there any other way to do this rather than open an entirely new character?

It worked for me, let me know if it worked for y’all[/quote] I'm now able to access all the seasonal content once I entered the mission and cleared it. The only problem is that it created and completed a new milestone in my director. Not a huge deal by any stretch, but may be a little annoying for some people. Hopefully it'll get patched out at some point this season.

Could you also try unlocking an artifact mod?

While it absolutely sucks that we can’t start the Season, it’s at least reassuring that others are reporting similar issues. As you can see above, Bungie is aware of this problem and working on it. They’ve even added it to their running list of Known Issues in this week’s TWAB article. Thank you to everyone, whether you’ve chimed in with your issue or you’ve been working on a fix. Hopefully the team will issue a fix soon and we can get to luring big Hive bois like every other Guardian. And while I’m here, I’ll just put it out there that I wouldn’t mind seeing a bit of extra Silver dropped in my account for this trouble... See you all on Wrathborn Hunts soon enough. Cheers.

        • I got same problem and stuck on Visit Zavala's Office for a gift from Osiris: your Seasonal Artifact. I think (if its possible) bungi should delete relic for us and let us finish this quest maybe that gonna fix the issue

          I've got the exact same error and issue, and have posted twice about this - I've had no response from Bungie. It's hugely frustrating, especially when trying to get raid-ready for Saturday, cannot access any of this week's content.
