COVID is a thing that has made it very hard for game devs to make stuff. The Salvations grip mission was supposed to be Drifter not Nolan. This probably has a similar issue. You all need to chill out and stop complaining over every dumb thing.

Afterwards, Osiris and Sagira head to the Deadnaught, the ship, AKKA, is dying a slow painful death. Osiris heads to the Moon with Sagira. Rumor has it, that Hive are fractured and lost after Oryx. The remnants decided to worship Savanthun, however the Darkness descended upon Sol, our Solar System and those very Hive turned their backs on Savanthun and went to worship the Darkness instead, sending Savanthun into hiding for fear of being taken out by Hive who follow the Darkness. At the Moon, Scarlette Keep, Osiris finds out that Xivu Arath has returned and the Hive are all pledging themselves to her. Xivu Arath, God of War, one of the original three Hive-Worm God pact, she was the one who took her armies and battle moons into Deepspace, turning her back on her two siblings. Osiris destroys all the Hive, but Xivu Araths projection alone was so powerful that it wisped away Osiris Well of Radiance like it was nothing, his light deeply dimmed in the presence of Xivu Arath. Sagira sacrificed herself, her light incinerating everything, including Xivu araths projection and her sigil. All that was left of Sagira was a floating ball of burning light, still glowing and hot several days later in the shadow of a Pyramid. Xivu Arath, God of War, has her entire Armies and Battlemoons intact, an arsenal untested against us Gaurdians. She will be coming.

What makes me the most angry aside from them killing Sagira off in one of the most lasiest ways is that Osiris doesn't ask Saint-14 for help. Thry were best friends and Saint is a godamn god in legend. Plus if he heard Osiris or Sagira was in trouble I guarantee he would've stormed the moon. Even Osiris was gonna tell us his last words that were for Saint if he died. Yet we came. Because of reasons? Saint should've saved him not us or the Crow.

Why does any one appreciate the more when half their stories don’t follow it We as normal everyday gaurdians keep saving Osiris who is one of the strongest ever. Makes sense right.

Sagira died the way I pictured it. I heard the cutscene in the game and came here for another post. Always figured it would be something to save Osiris. Whether one of his crazy crusades or otherwise, but she was adamantly faithful, as our ghost is, to Osiris. If they ever decide to do a D3... it will probably be our ghost death swan song too. Either in Lightfall (2022) or in the next game. Doing something to save us from imminent death at the hands of the darkness. I do not look forward to that day. I can honestly say a lot of guardians come and go... but if we ever lose our ghost... that will be a pitfall for any guardian to endure.

1 ReplyOur characters haven't even interacted with her directly in over a year, as liked as she is she's still a side character. Only way an on screen death would make sense is if our guardian was there to see it ( doubt osiris's pride would let him explain fully why and how to validate a flashback) and if we were there it woulda likely been a stretch for her to have to sacrifice herself. Xzivu can suppress light but probably cant stop the darkness most of us have on tap.

[quote]Can't afford the VA I guess...[/quote] There's a pattern here. Ever since certain NPCs, who used to have dialogue, have been killed off, our guardian has spoken relatively more often. Ergo, fewer VAs for other NPCs means more $$ for our guardian's VA. I see this as an absolute win.

Should have saved it for the mission. Would have been a Wtf moment, especially as it was mentioned so casually, almost as a side note. In the meantime I call on all Guardians who have the Sagira shell fro CoO to equip it in her honour.

Yeah, that was BS considering she played a role as our ghost in that less than perfect DLC but still, just stupid.
