Unlink old Xbox account from CrossPlay
Hello, I have a question about unlinking an old xbox account from CrossPlay. A while back I sold my Xbox including my Microsoft account. However in crossplay the account is still linked. I tried unlinking it, but this seems only possible if I authenticate my Xbox account first. Since I sold the account as well (transferred to different address) it is impossible to authenticate the account now. I play Destiny 2 now mainly on my PS4. I've ordered a new Xbox Series X on which I really want to enjoy Destiny as well, however as it looks now I won't be able to link my new Xbox account since the old one is still there. Can you help me out?

3 RepliesBungie can't unlink accounts, as they dont have access to your Microsoft account. You would need to work with Microsoft in order to get access to your account information.
