Dark and shaded areas inside of the Clovis Bray Facility on Europa are appearing as red for me. There others areas of the game where this happens but it is most noticeable there. Anyone else have problems like this?

Any updates to when this is getting fixed?

3 RepliesJust adding my input as I have the same issue (I think) with my Series X. Perhaps the delayed updates coming in December will resolve these issues? Here's a few screenshots... Exodus Crash Strike https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/ffodderr/screenshot/22857807 Nessus Shading Issue https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/ffodderr/screenshot/22857815 https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/ffodderr/screenshot/22857829 https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/ffodderr/screenshot/22857850 Nessus Colour Issue (very red) https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/ffodderr/screenshot/22857875 https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/ffodderr/screenshot/22857863 Some stuff is fine, and other stuff is baldy blown out and incredibly difficult to see (like the platforms area of the Exodus Crash strike before the boss fight area).

Edited by paolodibbi: 11/17/2020 7:29:55 AMHdr problems for me on Xbox series x.. Shadows turn to Grey and red... Very difficult to play.. The game lost most of the light and the transition from light to shadow zone is horrible. Before the patch is perfect

For HDR issues not introduced with Beyond Light, I highly recommend watching the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAMKhgbN9lM&t=189s&ab_channel=HDTVTest TLDR: Basically, the black point calibration helper in-game is broken and should be left at default (mid point of bar). White point calibration works as intended. Also, turn HDR off on console, launch game and set brightness to 4 (default). Close game, turn hdr back on in console. Launch D2. The game uses this brightness setting as the default reference point for HDR, as such you need to have it set to that. It's amazing to me that after all this time there has been no official acknowledgement, comment or help from Bungie on something so fundamental to the experience. If you can't implement HDR properly then don't bother at all.

I thought it might have been a recent update to my LG oled. Fired up Ghost of Tsushima and its as gorgeous as ever. So its definitely a D2 issue. This definitely happened with Beyond lights launch.

2 RepliesI’m getting really bad hdr problems on javelin 4 and burn out on Series X. It’s unplayable it’s so bad.

Same problem here with LG Oled and Series X. Red, purple and blue everywhere after the last patch.

9 RepliesThis game has had HDR issues on all platforms since it was added...best of luck finding a resolution.
Well, one that doesn't involve setting your platform and viewing device specifically for this game, while messing up every other game or movie/show.
