The spoiler is legit. You’ve been warned.
Bo is back!!! We got Mandalorians, glorious camera shots of a Gozanti Freighter, a promise for future involvement of our favorite warriors in blue, and Ashoka’s on the way. I’m also super intrigued by the main character’s newly revealed history as a blind devotee of the Supercommandos that served Maul. It’ll really deepen his character. Finally I want to give the Imperial captain props for doing his duty to the end.
The future is bright my friends.
Sorry, all out of salt.
2 RepliesEdited by Dredgen Wolf: 11/16/2020 8:28:45 PMI love it! Its so exciting to see that they have added the True Mandalorians into the story. What this means is that Din Djarin was raised by a strain of Deathwatch or Cult of the Watch, of whom never remove their helmets. It will be interesting to see if one can unite the two seperate factions into one single unified group of mandalorians. I believe that the Heavy infantry Mando known as Paz Vizla will also be in future episodes, as he probably escaped with survivors of the attack on Nevarro. I also expect to see the Armorsmith appear in future episodes.
The helmet stayed on...
1 ReplyDisney is very good at making spin off starwars stuff. I wish I could say the same for their trilogy.

1 ReplyOne thing that bothered me, shouldn't
Bo Katan
be forty or fifty years old by now? She definitely doesn't look that old... although I suppose it could just be that Katee Sackhoff ages well lol.

Indeed

I really enjoyed the first season, and am as much this season. Last season seeing an IG at work was just too much fun for me. This season with the way they continue touching an old Star Wars lore has been very entertaining.

1 ReplyEdited by Cultmeister: 11/15/2020 12:21:10 PMThis season is up and down for me. Still pretty mad about
seeing his face in episode 1. (Or was that the last ep of season 1, I can’t remember I watched them all in one sitting) Yeah I know they justified it because it wasn’t to an organic life form but they could have just panned away like they did before. Although I can see the actor putting his foot down about getting his face on screen.
But I did like
Richard Ayoade returning, and Werner Herzog getting pwned to shit
Also:
is it just me or is this season less dark than season 1? All that comedy stuff with the troopers on the speeders and the episode with the Krayt Dragon felt very Tremors-y.
3 RepliesIt was great! Bryce Dallas Howard has done a fantastic job thus far, I hope she becomes the next Dave filoni and sticks around for a while.
I'm super pumped for next week! It's going to be awesome seeing ahsoka again. I just hope she doesn't die this season.
3 RepliesEdited by HollowedWayfarer: 11/15/2020 6:35:51 AMRegarding the first spoiler
Mando’s sect of Mandalorians, the Children of the Watch, is mostly new and, as far as we know, is not associated with Maul and his Supercommandos.
